Austin Nickerson

Great episode only wish I could have more right now 😆

Havael Asmodeon

Sure, I'll watch it again. I've already lost count. Comfort character inside.

Tripl3M

FET BRA!

Leon Leon

I guess I have to watch it again

Jacko

I want to see more of these werewolves. They're AMAZING!!

GigaGuison

is there a difference between the patreon one and the youtube one or is it just website accessability and download links?

Kaiser of Phyrexia

Funny how we were talking about the time grimmal got put into a hospital last episode and what happens this episode, also I loved the zoom in to Markus yelling " he doesn't tell shit" to the zoom out to D's ass

bluefeatherearring8

Watched this 7 times already. The sadness never truly goes away but the milk hare helps 👍

Zaku II

i jsut watched it an hour ago , i cant sleep it was so amaziiiing

Alexander

I'm hoping that a dream dance starts with the gnomes going ham.

Kyle E Johnson

No difference. They just started uploading to patreon because people wanted a place to download the things so they could listen to the audiologs podcast -style, and then it turned into "upload everything to patreon"

The Great Janitor

Werewolfs are soo freaking amazing, me and my partner watched it together

Kyle E Johnson

I didn't put 2 and 2 together like that until you said it. Top 10 transitions of all time

Louis

Most devastating ending known to man

I found the Banner image fakeout pretty rude. I'll get over it, but that felt less like a red herring, and more like being lied to. But considering that that's my biggest complaint and it's not even in the episode itself, great episode. It really is the prettiest thing you've made yet, the werewolves made a great first impression, beautiful visual representation of faith and werewolf powers, high quality and subtle-but-not-at-all-subtle references. And so on. You continue to impress. When novelty pins with Stig butt? And D butt? A whole cast twerk-off, really. Why discriminate?

Peeply

Turns out Mr Charles was right about a few things. Hopefully travelling through the Umbra doesn't give you BRAINGUBBAR...

Tobias Hagström

It kind of feels like this could have been de-escalated if Marckus was just given more time to explain to Jambles how their organization (or lack thereof) works. Which is kind of weird, because on the hunter/arcanum side, they had time to patch up the wounded, ransack the library, listen to 2h of Fatigue backstory, contact the coalition, get representatives from various branches of the coalition to actually travel to the chapter house, have a 2h meeting, requisition silver bullets, organize a fairly large strike force, and travel to the site (which took at least 36 min, based on the lenght of the Grimaline episode). Was Hunter of Hunters just shaking Marckus for like 6+ hours straight meanwhile?

Tobias Hagström

Is there some reason why Kitten stabbing Stig repeatedly in the chest (around where his lungs or aorta should be) with what I presume is a silver blade did absolutely nothing? He seem to have nicked a Webley from the Arcanum armoury to upgrade his spear, and swapped the wooden stake out for a blade, I kind of just assumed that if people were dealing out silver bullets, he could've probably snagged a silver knife at some point. Or at least that felt intuitive to assume, him swapping from a dedicated anti-vampire melee weapon to an anti-werewolf one. Edit: On re-watching, I notice vapor from the stab wound, which I think should be an indication it is a silver wound. And Kitten got a good decimeter of penetration, on either his heart of aorta. Seriously, what is the idea here? Is he so barrel-chested you need a sword to reach his heart or something? Or is his survival literally a religious miracle due to the whole faith-off?

Ravnholt

this was BRUTAL and fuckin awesome and I raise a glass of Sake to honor a true warrior

Brandon Bromley

Honestly some of your best work. I really hope we ger to see more of the Kin of Old Shuck.

Greg Krak

I hope there's a part 2 to this

Havael Asmodeon

There is more to appreciate on Stig than his butt. I can fix him, personally.

Learning Leisure

Well, Markus was dragged through the umbra, and D said that those who weren't "drunk" could be a shining light for monsters. Maybe it took time for Matilda (whether by hiding or fighting) to drag Markus across the Umbra while dealing with Umbra hostiles?

Learning Leisure

Was Grimaline the only person to use Silver? Outside of Blacklaws Whitte Phosphor bullet, it seemed as though Stig wasn't reacting to being shot or cut. Did they bring normal bullets or are silver bullets just not as effective?

Tobias Hagström

Or it took hours to pick all the umbral braingubbar out of Marckus' skull before they could start interrogating him.

Andrew Freeman

seeing as in ep 2 i think the spear doesn't dust sludge lad it might not be silver(also assuming wod vampires are weak to silver but idk for sure) edit: nevermind i didn't read your comment correctly, i thought he always had the blade

conman

Kittens stab was likely silver and stig tried to dodge most bullets, plus stein was likely touch enough that he could tank a good few hits

Loke Ho

the animation and pacing is truly amazing in this episode

Tolley'Os

I aspire to come up with characters as instantly and consistently memorable as you guys do; well done, 500 days and you made something truly special (the artists particularly went mad imo), well done and I wish you 10 wages for all your days

Ivalera-Pixie

Is there a chance we'll get Stig's war chant in full separated audio?

Jbongo

WoD Vampires aren't actually weak to silver.

Melody Mills Bondage

Where you say "And as an MP3 here:" - it doesn't actually have an MP3 in the list - I'm guessing as it's not an audiolog it's not supposed to?

Joker Ace

Fantastic as always

Lobotomy Maid!

... They literally just put her in the Banner. It's over...

Kyle E Johnson

Of course there's more to him than his butt. We're talking about merchandise tho. Literally objectifying people. Give the people (me) what they (I) really want! Cake! Ham! Dummy thiccc cheeks! (For the record I'm half joking. It's not the worst merch idea. Vivziepop makes bank selling pin ups of their characters at every excuse they can find to make a holiday collection. It's a bit out of character for this series, but if you made it about comical appreciation of ham, it's not completely out of character.)

Kyle E Johnson

Your heart is near the bottom of your ribcage, under your (usually) left lung. Kitten stabbed too high to hit that. So I guess he just missed anything but muscle

Ph'aara

Oh... thats gore of my comfort character

Tobias Hagström

Still seems like it should hit the aorta, or lung. And it should not heal, at least not any faster than a regular human heals regular injuries, would be my assumption, but the chest wound is ignored. More importantly than anatomical theory though, this all feels narratively strange. Stig is held in place, but no one does anything, except Kitten. And Kitten does the same thing that Kronik Fatigue described, the lycan was held in place by True Faith, and brought down with spikes of silver. And it feels like the narrative is completely uninterested in engaging with itself. Why did it not work? There is no narrative about Kitten being bad at aiming, or not knowing anatomy. Is the problem that no one else helped? Grimaline should have been willing and able, so why didn't she? Did Stig have some unique ability to just ignore a lethal or at least substantial injury? The narrative is strangely uninterested in explaining why Kitten thinks charging will work, but no one else does. It's uninterested in explaining why the idea is mistaken, or what Stig truly did that would put him beyond their expectations. The closest to a thread I can think to pick up here is D's advice not to fight a werewolf, and to "trust your wits, not your fists". Maybe the arc here will reveal that there was in theory something subtler and smarter Kitten could have done in this situation, and this realization will constitute his growth in experience and power when facing a similar situation going forward. But then again, D advice to "blind them, distract them", when fighting werewolves, which Stig kind of was. Maybe the point is that they should have all just ran? How did that work anyway, the whole clearing was lined with fire, how were they able to run away at all even with Grimaline's distraction?

Stuart Stone

Still think Grimal could become a fairy. Death is but a window in the World of Darkness. You just have to be thrown out of the right story.

My life is ÖVER!
