Two weeks have past and the podcast has finally stopped plaguing my sanity.I'll keep it short and sweet as I don't have too much to update you on other than the fact that work is going forward!First off, I've made progress on EP28 of course. I've had close to every single voiceline recorded for it, all that is required to progress is some more audio editing.Second off, the new Special has been my focus this week and it's been great.I've set up the visuals, commissioned a fuuuuckload of artwork and had every single voiceline for it recorded. I'm making some nice progress on it albeit perhaps not quite as much as I would've wanted, so I'm going to be working a bit during the weekend as well.Not today though, as I've got a guest over and we're going to be playing video games and partaking of the alcohol for the remainder of the night.I'm also preparing a Short that I hope to finish up this month if I have time, one starring the one and only Ciaphas Cain, Hero of the Imperium!It's be quite simplistic, but fun to make.Other than that though, I figured now would be a good time to give you something quite exclusive!If you've been my patron for a time now and watched some of the old 2018 previews for EP27, you might've noticed that one scene was entirely missing from the episode.Well, here is that scene in its entirety for you to watch and be... bemused by.We decided to remove it quite late into production after several people in the cast rightly pointed out that it was very drawn out, not particularly entertaining, very stitled and the set-up for character development the scene was supposed to provide could just as well be streamlined and told without heavy-handedness. It also bloated the episode quite a lot. In the end, we feel the removal of this scene was something that helped make EP27 one of the best-phased episodes yet. That is that it for this update. Next time around, I'll probably still be working on EP27 and the Special, maybe I can provide you a small preview for one of them. Which would you prefer?Leave your answers below woAHow.
