As promised in the last update, here is the first half of Chapter 1 of our new series, Hunter: The Parenting. If you decide to watch it I truly hope you enjoy it, and also a big big big thank you...
I'm gonna be honest, this first half I'm presenting to you here is not that eventful.
It's vaguely similar to the old throneroom-scenes and that's what our intention was whilst writing it. It's mostly jokes, dialogue, character interaction and world-building, with not much action or intrigue.
You're just joining these characters for a deep-night stroll through a wooded area in Norfolk, England.
Things do get a bit more tense in the second half, and I personally like it better, but that being said though, I like listening to these characters just talk. It's one of my favourite things, and I hope you'll enjoy it too.
I also want to make it very clear for people who like world building that this area that we're presenting is not fictional, its actually real and the places they refer to are actual locations that we've found primarily through Google Maps.
Thunder (the VA for Kitten) even went and visited these locations and snapped some photos for reference, which is absolutely fucking amazing and hilarious.
We already knew that we wanted to put focus on urban legends and local folklore in this series and implement it into our world building, and the first one we found fitting for story-purposes was the tale of the monk and the fiddler, real legends from North Norfolk.
By coincidence, and I must insist that this was entirely by fucking coincidence, as we looked over the locale around which this legend took place, we noticed that it also contained small townships named such amazing things as Cockthorpe and fucking Warham.
We couldn't NOT implement these.
I also of course want to give big kudos to all our illustrators for banging all this out, and our music man
If you have any questions after having watched this I am happy to answer them. I really hope you think this looks promising because I cannot wait to keep working on it.
That will be that for now.We will keep working as we have.
Until next time, have a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
