Most work on Galatea has been completed, the voice recording casting call shall commence soon. Depending on the voice actress' schedule this may take an indefinite amount of time.

To clarify: she won't make her debut in update 0.28 which is coming next week.

说起来我还不是很了解这个游戏的玩法大致是怎么样的，是类似神界原罪2和废土那样的回合制还是fps还是什么样呢，另外能否说一下这个游戏会不会有换装备系统，如果能更换武器和服装我觉得可玩性会更高些（研究配装思路等等）这样对于我这种暖暖玩家来说就可以换各种衣服了，比如大衣＋高礼帽，还有把那把笼手剑换成迅捷剑。关于战斗的话我认为或许可以这样设计，转轮手枪射击快伤害低，燧发枪射击慢伤害高，而且定装弹燧发枪射击速度已经不慢了，有可能是我的描述有误，我说的定装弹燧发枪是类似春田1873那样的，装一发子弹，扣下击锤，射击。不需要要装火药也不需要通条，射击速度虽然不会有转轮手枪那么快但也不慢了。背景上设计或许可以是：一种高威力复古武器，使用特殊的弹药来造成更高的伤害，虽然多次射击速度慢，但是她的威力已经足以弥补她的射击速度了

This needs to be said: You have to proceed with caution, age disclaimers, legal, all that stuff. While this kind of character is not my cup of tea. I do have to be the voice of reason here and caution about the consequences such a character would have -especially on the patreon support platform- if handled incorrectly. I trust that the devs know what they are doing and have cleared things. I am sure all the backers of the project still want it be here for a long time in the future.

Good you spoke it out. Loli Chars may be legal or socially accepted in asian countries. BUT for Europe....thats a different story. Just to say "oh my, she looks like a ten year old but in reality she is a trillion year old goddess. Let´s pound that totally legal ass with my star shaped alien power dong.....". In terms of pornographic stuff with minors (or charakters that look like minors) I don´t think that whould work.

You can see the pictures, right? There's nothing indicating that she's particularly young. It's a perfectly adult young woman with healthy female proportions. It weirds me out that some people are so quick to draw the underage or "loli" card as soon as a design diverges from the, sadly, established balloon breast type. Just go outside and take a look at how sporty or just generally fit, young to middle-aged women actually look!

Have never in my life seen an 18-year-old+ look like Galatea, pig tails is very pre schooler hair style and her body proportions are that of an under developed female for a reason.... 'adult young woman with healthy female proportions' I'd for sure disagree here. She's a loli, as she's intended to be. I'm not into it, but they are trying to cater to everyone so good on them.

I'm married to a woman of roughly those proportions. She's 38. I've been in sports clubs my entire live. That's usually how women looked there as well. Last time I checked, there were no age restrictions for particular hairstyles. I'm not debating that the character is catered towards people who like that certain style and body shape. I am, however, debating that the style and body shape indicate that she's underage - which reality simply does not reflect. Do underage girls like that exist? Yes. Do young women ranged between 18 and 45 like that exist? Also yes. I've seen the pedo card being played so much in the past in here, simply because people who have a different taste want their knockout arguments to discredit others' tastes. It is much healthier to advertise a fit body type than ones that can only result in back pain, so you could even argue like that. I just don't get why people can't simply be tolerant and not resort to unwarranted extremes. Those voices are the actual danger for projects like this, because platforms won't bother to fact check. We live in the era of cancel culture. If enough people complain, the responsible platforms will take the easiest option of just getting rid of the supposed offender instead of looking at the validity of the uproar. This bullshit has been happening across all social media platforms. It's a plague.

@xnapx Ok I'm sorry if i misunderstood the term loli and used it wrong in this occasion. You wouldn't say she is a loli char? To clarify further. I don't have a certain taste for big breast women or that I dislike "young and fit looking"- girls. For myself, I definitely like small fit body shapes much more. The presented design however, with the very smooth young face and the pigtails.....all I say is that there MIGHT occure certain problems and after I read the some postst here in the comments it seems that her look and style is not super obvious adult.

It´s far less the type of hairstyle, then the face. Hentai women naturally tend to look younger cause of certain attributes (big eyes, soft markless skin etc.). So I myself too think the women here presented looks like al loli char (and I am also 30 and married so my experience in the real world seems sufficient for me). But the important part is that: I like this kind of body shape. I don´t want them to remove her. Don´t misunderstand the reason of most of the complains. Diversity in body shape is good. The problem here is that it is not that super obvious to most of the people that she is of legal age. That could cause problems. Thats all. One more point: Isn't it strange that so many "small thin totally not loli girls" in hentai are also very small in size? In your studio, do the girls there tend to shrink? It whould be very refreshing to see a tall fit girl, like in some heroine hentai. ;-)

Body shape is the only thing that should matter, isn't it? Everything else is artistic freedom. Does Dr Anya have any wrinkles? Are the breasts of any current character overly realistic? Is the Hound of Tindalos biologically correct? It's a game, not reality. There is absolutely zero need to change the design in favor of the people who DON'T like Galatea - just like it wasn't the Dr Anya "haters'" place to complain about her design. Nobody is questioning that certain characters are catered towards a niche or fetish, but what the problem is here is that some people with distorted body perceptions are trying to project their view onto reality. Just look at the regular porn industry (and maybe not just the American one): there are plenty of petite performers that look very young, have seemingly immaculate skin as well as pigtails. Is anyone going on a mission and tells porn studios to not cast those women because they look too young? Is anyone telling the actresses to stop doing porn or change their look because they have different tastes? It might look like it's about "caring for the safety of the project", but it achieves the opposite; it's that kind of alarmism that's the actual danger for projects and people out there. Uniformism would make games like this boring really quick. Currently, the character pool is TINY, so a little variety is exactly what's needed.

To clarify again. It's not about if I like this char or not. I too think the game needs more variety. Exactly like you said. And to adress the problem you pointed out, I also think that the designer NEVER should change there stuff just because polls or comments or whoever wants them to do so. It's there project and imagination and thats what makes it unique. Like I wrote in a post before "everybodys darling is nobodys love". The only thing I point out, and I think this is the right place to do this, is that some people MIGHT get the impression that this char is a minor. People you can't argue with. Haters who then bring damage to the popularity of the projekt. Loli stuff is a dangerous subjekt when considering the differences in moral of japanese and european sex culture. And with dangerous I mean the part where the "artistic freedom" ends and questions of legality occure. My concernes are NOT about taste. As I pointed out I am not a friend of big breastet milk monsters. I don't want them to change anything when they think it will be ok for market release. But I had to give my concerns as an european patreon with a different cultural background.
