Heh. Chris (Casual Nerd Reactions) is also starting Breaking Bad, in addition to Farscape. And SG1. He got quite the lineup going these days. :D Not trying to promote a different channel either, just adding onto what you were saying.

I've had a bit of a week myself, and didn't remember which episode was coming this week, so it being this one was a nice treat. Absolutely a fun episode, with a couple of moments that hit you in the feels - Farscape gonna Farscape, after all. I'm sure Crais didn't ask to become a Peacekeeper again, and I'm pretty confident he wouldn't agree to turn over Talyn, but that opening scene was still hilarious with it's fourth wall break (and a fantastic example of the trope done well) And I think it's pretty neat how sexy the John/Aeryn scenes manage to be while remaining relatively chaste. And the music walks the line but avoids crossing over into cheezy; more would have been too much, less wouldn't have been enough, but what we got was just right. It's a pretty good note to end on before a break, as well.

According to David Kemper, the pace of the episode had to be adjusted in the editing room because Claudia and Ben "went pretty hard at it." That they'd gone so fast that there was no place to go in subsequent acts of the ep, and that by the end of Act IV they'd have to be "having sex on top of the Empire State Building" if they'd kept going like that. Ben and Claudia also stated that it's due to their working relationship and friendship that they were able to film this ep - with its constant kissing and touching - without it being awkward or uncomfortable. I also found that part of Superman III frightening as a kid, and had nightmares about it! Happy vacation time to you, Angela!
