Even at the time I was thinking about G.I. robot, and how they could just rebuild him and maybe show up again in something else somewhere down the line

US military units in WW2 were usually given letters like A Company, B Company, ... and they were often referred to with informal names like Able, Baker, Dog, Fox, Easy. Companies were organized under Battalions so there were many Easy Companies in WW2. For example, the band of Brothers easy company was E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division

Dr. Magnus said he'd be adding some upgrades to GI Robot, hence his ability to fly and pull out multiple guns. Magnus is a DC character responsible for the creation of the Metal Men, a favorite group of mine when I was a kid in the 70's. Re-reading them now I can see why they were popular to my very young mind. Not great stories but fun characters. Magnus created a handful of robots, each one of them represented a specific metal. As my memory serves there was Gold (the brightest one, of course), Iron, Lead, Mercury (the hothead of the group), Tin, and the two female robots Platinum and Aluminum. They were definitely a product of the 60s and 70s and by today's standards some of their writing was... uncomfortable.

A movie about Sgt. Rock, the leader of DC’s Easy Company, is looking to begin shooting in summer 2026, so we may get a film following an adventure with Easy Company and possibly G.I. Robot included. Remember, characters in the new DCU can transition between live action, animation, and video game mediums no problem, always played by the same actor, which I think is amazing.

That half-Dinosaur guy is Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man, it's as bonkers as it sounds.

Yes, he’s an enemy of the Doom Patrol
