I believe that opening scene with Harcourt and Rick Flag was in our dimension because they then show Peacemaker killing Rick Flag.

Last week I said the first two episodes were kinda depressing for this sort of show, and the jokes weren't always landing. You said you thought it would pick up and it sure did. I also noticed this alternate dimension might be exclusively white. You mentioned it early on and I'm not sure there's a single Black, Asian, Hispanic, etc. anything other than Caucasian. I even noticed most people with tan skin or dark hair had light eyes.

About halfway through the episode I also subconsciously realized that every single person in the other dimension is white. I have an idea of what dimension this might exactly be, especially given the way that Auggie gave the full German pronunciation for “Bludhaven” in 2x1, and it’s not good. 😅 Also, Martians actually do only have one eye (see Absolute Martian Manhunter cover, for example). I’m interested to see what Michael Rooker’s character, Red St. Wild, is all about (I think his necklace is made of eagle feathers, which is sick). He seems to be an original character, but there was a shot in one of the trailers that makes me think of an already existing character who I could see being an enemy of Peace Maker.

I don't know if you've watched the first Suicide Squad movie (I know you watched the second one :) ), it's what the sorceress talk was referring to in the "3 years ago" flashback with Flag and Harcourt :) .

New "dimensions" to why Harcourt took awhile to soften to Chris in season 1 and maybe after they had their "ride" on the party boat, it brought those memories of Rick back and why she went back to being cold to Chris. Rick Flag Jr. was in the Army in "our" dimension too. Yeah, I noticed the new dimension seems pretty homogeneous so far and like KrakenKing mentions, the pronunciation of Bludhaven with more umlaut emphasis does sort of tip the hat to those who are more familiar with the comic books.
