I admit I initially had no intention of watching this. I don't do well with movies based around child harm. But you were giving it a go so I decided to at least try it. That first hour and 15 minutes, I was hooked. I loved the mystery, how it was showing different angles, giving you pieces of the puzzle as it went.... but that last 45 or so minutes killed everything for me. No hate to the actors, they all did a wonderful job. But I'm just disappointed it devolved into the very thing I was afraid it'd be. Glad I watched it, though I probably wouldn't watch it again.

Well, I kinda liked the end because it didn’t go the way I thought it was going to. Spoilers for anybody who’s reading this… But you would think that when they snapped out of it, they would be back to normal and that’s just not the case it’s still devastating and the harm she did will continue on.

Is it weird that I was most disturbed by Marcus' partner just throwing snacks and cereal in the grocery cart? C'mon my guy. They're gonna get all crumbled up. Also I'm never gonna be able to watch Field of Dreams the same way again.

There were definitely a great mix of disturbingly horrific and just plain hilarity. I was wondering if it was going to be supernatural, or aliens, or government experimental mind control, so when it turned out to be a witch trying to prolong her life, okay, I'm there. :) Gladys was creepy and a god damn menace. And poor Alex. But man, he really saved the day.
