Felt a bit more like an epilogue rather than a finale.

In regard to outro thoughts, Yeah Ghost Rider is Marvel and Lobo is DC but Lobo is kind of like Ghost Rider in a really loose sense. Ghost Rider is basically the Devil's bounty hunter and punishes the wicked but he doesn't get joy out of it whereas Lobo is a bounty hunter that will go after anyone whether they're good or bad. A job's a job. He loves getting drunk and killing. He does however have a code of honor in regard to space dolphins. He loves those space dolphins. I know more about Ghost Rider than I do Lobo but Momoa will definitely be a fantastic Lobo. Oh and Lobo has fought Superman and Guy Gardner, both of which Gunn has introduced already so... maybe we'll get some crazy stuff there? Anyway. Love this show. I think Gunn's said that the characters will continue in the DCU but there's no plans for a season 3 yet. So I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens in Man of Tomorrow.

When Season 2 started, I couldn't really vibe with the theme, but by the time of the finale, I honestly think I prefer this theme to Season 1. It would be pretty cool and funny to see Superman meet Chris in Superman 2 mainly because John Cena was the Superman of the WWE something he was mocked constantly on the Internet with people calling him “Super Cena" which is a valid lol I l'll even say that Super Cena was a bit more overpowered than Superman at times lol. It's also cool to see your opinion change about Chris and Harcourt from season 1 to now because of their chemistry and likability that you can't help but be happy for them.

Okay, the absolute first thing I need to say: When I saw the name of the new agency that the gang started, I nearly fell out of my chair. I haven’t reacted to a finale like that since Severance season 1. Admittingly, part of it was the swerve from the total feel-good ending we were having, but SO MUCH MAKES SENSE NOW! (For those who are not avid comic readers…in the comic world, that group name was a part of a series of Major DC Comics crossovers in the mid-2000’s. And it shouldn’t be surprising, since it has ties directly or indirectly to several of the characters we saw this season, both old and new…as well as to the rumored villain in the next Superman movie. I will not elaborate further to avoid spoilers, but this probably isn’t just the setup for that Superman movie…but also, what could happen AFTER it.) (For those who DO know the comics….geeze, of course it’s C****M***, opposing this “A.R.G.U.S.” I was wondering why this A.R.G.U.S. was so different in the DCU/EU…but I got reminded that “Argus” in Greek mythology was a monster covered in MANY EYES. And knowing what C****M*** leads into….the absolutely irony and opposition.) Lobo would’ve totally fit into that demon-skull-spider world. Lobo was basically most famous in the early 90’s as almost DC’s satire of Wolverine, and a more general satire for “grim and gritty” heroes that became popular in the period, but he got accepted by fans of the type. Basically, he’s the comic book personification of the Beastie Boys “Fight for Your Right To Party!” I’m worried to see how well he’ll do coming to the movies, but Momoa is a great choice for him. At the end, I’m left wanting more from Peacemaker Season 2…we had a nice wrap on a story line, but between the big cliffhanger, and also not returning to Earth X (it’s definitely Earth X from the comics), there was too much left unresolved…even with that twist ending! PS - That Xenomorph who seems unbothered by others in the closet space…He’s burning small versions of “The Weasel” from The Suicide Squad, right? Am I the only one who thinks that’s what was being hinted at there, that’s where Weasel came from?

A few nice thoughts about the ending, Harcourt singing along to Foxy Shazam kind of made me believe that was a group she was into and that she was sharing that with Chris... and Eagly connecting with John kind of makes me feel a little better about Chris getting sent to the other place. Ohh, an Eagly series like the I am Groot series would be awesome. I kind of think that Chris is a little Metahuman, he takes crazy physical damage and seems to heal back from it pretty fast. Yeah, Danielle brought me to tears twice in this episode. I liked this episode, I feel like we got emotion growth with almost everyone and some new pieces have been moved on the board for the future.

There was a comic series called salvation run back in 2007 that it felt like that’s what they were referencing a prison planet with all supervillains on it
