A little mix of old and new here! I will trim this down to the top 4 next week and then run a poll on those picks.

Ben Walker

Seriously great picks across the board.

Paulo

Nope especially Event Horizon, I watched that one when I was younger and NOOO, big no

Loki Incredible

if you love James Gunn,, watch Slither 🪱

Farbsy

Hey! Angela’s husband here. If I could vote for The Menu 80 times I would. I’ve been pushing for FLG to watch that movie basically since we met.

Vexkun

Event Horizons only scifi to make me scare of space travel, not counting Warhammer 40k.

Skipp

Highly recommend It Follows, one of the most intense films I have ever seen. I also think you would really really enjoy slither. Stars Nathan Fillion, written and directed by James Gunn so itbis filled with his style.

J

Only one of these movies (to my knowledge) has cool space shit. Follow your heart.

James B.

Come on, Menu.

James B.

When this gets winnowed down to top four, and you Slither and Killer Klowns fans are grumbling at the injustice, remember it was Event Horizon's fault. Please give your spite vote to The Menu. It's what those EH voters deserve for taking your joy.

James B.

I mean, yeah. The The Killer Klowns have some seriously advanced tech.

Topher 🤪

And while I think it would be vastly more entertaining to see her react to either Slither or Killer Klowns, if anyone was gonna do justice to the menu which while a good movie would be a tough reaction video she'd be the one to do it justice. And event horizon will be easiest on me as I will just skip it - I know it takes different strokes for different folks but I have never understood people's attachment to this dreadfully dull film

Rory Gerrard

Definitely Halloween. But you should definitely watch the Menu as well.

Joel Butts

Well I started voting and ended up voting for all of them. I guess that doesn’t help. Can’t wait for any of them. 🙂

RabidMango

The real answer is to watch both (EH and The Menu). I don't doubt that's possible. I'm a scary movie wuss and Event Horizon terrified me when I was a kid, but now I have fun watching it. I have good friends who tell me when to watch scary movies because I'll like them and when I don't need to. For example: It Follows is worth a watch, it's a pretty good movie. I don't need to watch Terrifier. Not to denigrate Terrifier. I have a lot of respect for the talent of people making a wild gore horror. I just can't watch it. Nope nope, not for me.

Merkavar

Event Horizon: The Warhammer 40K movie :D

Thoko

What? How come “Human Centipede” is not on the list?

Tal Even-Tov

Next horror poll u need to add Screamers from 1995 ... not exactly horror but the first movie that ever gave me nightmares

Heretic

Slither is great. James Gunn and Nathan Fillion!

Thoko

I'm listening....

Hi, I am Hi.

Nice! Event Horizon. You should have also added Sunshine (2007)

Edina Lewis

Should def watch Slither! Directed by James Gun, starring Nathan Fillion!! It’s a must watch!!

Chet Brusk

I remember feeling hoodwinked by Event Horizon's marketing. Sunshine's trailer had the benefit of trailers being much less narrative by then, but fool me once... Both have great production design and deliver a mood, but folks who are picky about the type of horror they like should ask a friend first.
