Frieren will be dropping 4 times a week starting this week! YouTube will still have 2 a week for now so I can get ahead a bit. Having multiple editors is helping me get more out to you quicker! We will have a Poll up soon for it's replacement. I'm thinking Dragon Prince, Cyberpunk Edgerunners and Cowboy Beebop. For fun maybe throw in Gravity Falls.

The Horror Poll that is going up will be narrowed down to the top 4 winners from the current poll. It's been fun seeing what won with multiple choice, this one will be one and done, so choose wisely.

ALSO- Princess Mononoke was the runner up from the Studio Ghibli poll so she's next! It will be a Patreon Exclusive, meaning it will only be on Patreon (in a watch along style format) and will not have an edited version.

Xander will have the Fantastic 4 edit done this week and is working on Andor 2x4-2x6 edit. They are coming but good grief that a lot to edit down!

Yeesh, Cowboy Bebop, Dragon Prince, Cyberpunk Edgerunners, and Gravity Falls all on the same poll? Talk about a tough choice. My recommendations for future voters would be Bebop and Edgerunners. That way, we can get through them quickly so we have more time for the longer series down the road.

I might get some flack for this, but Gravity Falls isn't really all it is built up to be. It suffers a lot from being under disney's "family friendly only" thumb at the time and just is a little too childish

Princess Mononoke is hands down my favorite Miyazaki movie and one of my very favorite movies of all time. This one I would *strongly* suggest watching the dub, even though for other anime I almost always prefer the original with subtitles. Spirited Away had a very very good dub, but Princess Mononoke's dubbed voice acting is *better* than the original Japanese IMO. If you thought Spirited Away had a stacked English-language cast just wait... It's not just about how stacked the voice cast is either; some anime, even other Miyazaki movies, have dubs stacked with A-list Hollywood and TV actors but still feel a little flat because of stilted translation, not good enough voice directing, etc. That's not at all the case with the Mononoke dub, it's full of wonderfully nuanced performances.

It is a kids' show and does have plenty of childish jokes, but also a lot of clever humor, including a ton of stuff for adults that they managed to get past those disney "family friendly only" filters. And as it goes on, great plot twists, character development, and satisfying payoff to be well worth a reaction on this channel.

It couldn't be helped obviously, but missing DW last week means that the next christmas special reaction will now not fall actually on christmas, unless you do a double upload at some point (wink wink, nudge nudge 😉)

Cowboy Bebop reactions sound fun, so I'll probably vote for that! Praying for My Hero Academia to make it on a poll sometime soon, but also understand it's a longer show than most of the ones listed there, haha. So keen for this influx of Frieren eps too!

That poll is a difficult one. Dragon Prince and Cyberpunk are both good and if you do end up adding Violet Evergarden as well, there's a lot on there I'd wanna vote on. It's going to be Violet Evergarden that I ultimately vote on though. That show's gonna grasp you like few others ever will. Trust. Dragon Prince would be a great watch for you, but is longer than the other options. It's probably a great option for when you wrap up one of the long shows you're already working on.

Oh man, Gravity Falls has a special place in my heart! I never expected it to be so good. If you don't watch it with us, I really urge you to watch it on your own. You won't be disappointed!

As someone who is literally finishing Cyberpunk Edgerunners today, it's a great watch! totally the opposite of Frieren lol. If you want to time with it's 2nd season is coming out in July 2026.

If you liked Firefly, I strongly suggest Outlaw Star over Cowboy Bebop. They both came out at around the same time and both try to capture that western space opera vibe. I bring up Firefly because Joss Whedon very blatantly stole a lot of what made Firefly great from Outlaw Star, and I just don’t hear anyone talk about it anymore! It’s been overshadowed by Cowboy Bebop, which is fine, I get it, I just wish more people would give Outlaw Star its flowers

I agree, I think the show got over hyped. I watched it for the first time with the Gallifrey Pals a couple years back and I was constantly expecting more, but alas, Disney will Disney

Whats truly amazing about Violet Evergarden is that its the only novel to ever win the Grand prize at the Kyoto Animation awards. The Kyoto Animation awards had very high standards to the point that there have been some years that there were no winners at all. Honestly Violet Evergarden really hits you in such a way that no other anime does. Also If you ever want to see a very deep and complex anime with one of the best female character's you should check out Ghost in the Shell. The first movie inspired the Matrix, and the 2 seasons of it have some of the most complex stories that delve into some incredible philosophical/psychological topics. There's also an anime called Black Lagoon, which has the most badass female characters in anime. Even though it has some of the best character development I have seen, its pretty dark and very realistic. It delves into morality, humanity, identity, and trauma like no other anime. though it would have to be a patreon exclusive.
