Today was a very long day! I’ll be watching episode three tomorrow!

Patrick Waldeck

It's insane that they got the voice actress for Tiana (princess and the frog) to be Jester's mom. Waking up and suddenly knowing magic out of absolutely nowhere is something out of a horror movie.

Nathanael Fuller (Polygon Wizard)

Jester is a chaotic ball of sunshine, sweet treats, hamster unicorns, and oh so many painted dicks. Animation may be the only way to properly capture her energy. There are so many amazing Jester moments that I am looking forward to seeing brought to life in the show.

Zain Cassis

Traveler? Real or imaginary? We may never know...

Amber A

"Uk'otoa?" * chorus of dissonant whispers * "Uk'otoa" "Uk'otoa" "Uk'otoa" "Uk'otoa"

The Lore Merchant

To answer your question, Beau realized that the Volstrucker had a residuum crystal embedded in her wrist (explaining how they are so powerful).

BMackVO

Especially the cupcake.😉

I think this show did actually do a better job of explaining *why* Essik would do it, besides the power which he is obviously a bit interested in, he is scared that the cycle of rebirth is damaging his mother and wants a way to fix it without her dying. She is not old for an elf, she should have a few more centuries, yet she is dying because her past selves are intruding on her present. Terrifying. It doesn't give him a pass for working with the Ick, but hey, I get his fear.

100% in favour of the 'Caleb is Actually A Cat' theory.

I like that they are kind of acknowledging the way Liam handled spell components in the campaign. Most D&D spells have material components but the ones that are really mechanically important are those that list a monetary value. For example, Caleb has to burn incense, charcoal and herbs with a total value of 10 gold pieces to summon his cat. Components without a monetary value listed often get abstracted in play, as there are various items (e.g. a spellcasting focus like a staff or wand, or a spell component pouch) that let you essentially ignore them. When playing Caleb though, Liam would always make a point of describing the use of those components, like mashing together sulphur and bat guano when casting fireball, or getting out a caterpillar cocoon to cast polymorph.

Oh, also remembered this isn’t the first time you’ve heard of Jester’s mother - Dr Dranzel sang a song about The Ruby of the Sea early in season 3.

On the subject of "husband and wife crush sesh", as you put it, Travis isn't a fan of romancing during their campaigns so Laura basically made it her mission to romance her husband during this campaign

funnylilgalreacts

I love that for him 😂 “you don’t like that? Here’s a lot of it” Laura is a goddess

Connor Black

He said he was going to avoid romance and she responded that she was going to romance him. He said “I’m still gonna do it” and she absolutely called his bluff. Led to many amazing moments I hope get animated!

Michael Kemmet

Just to clear up a bit about what people are saying here, Travis not wanting romance was because he was embarrassed about doing it on camera. "Not liking it" can be taken a couple ways, and I just want it to be clear that Travis wasn't against D&D romance in general(he loved Keyleth/Vax and Percy/Vex), it was just his own embarrassment that caused him to say he was never going to do it himself. But I can't wait until we've gone far enough to link Ginny Di's parody music video "Where She Sleeps". I think that's my favorite Travis romance moment because of the context of the situation in real life. IYKYK (hope I've been vague enough to completely avoid spoilers)

Jester’s mom has got it goin’ on.
