Wow, youtube has gotten so messed up. When will they ever actually improve the site instead of ruining it even further? But thank you for this reaction, it was perfect timing. I was about to start your episode 3 reaction and now i can watch both episodes back to back. Loving this season so far! Its going to be hard waiting until part 2!

I was wondering why there was such a long delay. Now it's time to finish this 4-episode journey. The reveals in this episode are bitchin'. Isn't it amazing how long that camera shot lasts during the battle scene? Now we know who the 'other' is. And now, Will can finally be himself... whatever that is. --- If this show was a purely a traditional-fantasy saga, one magic-wielding heir from the line of Byers would marry another magic-wielding heir from the line of Wheeler and the child of that union would become one of the most powerful druids of all time. (Not all LOTR-like fantasy franchises are set in other worlds or Earth's history. The 30+ books of the Shannara series, for example, are actually set in humanity's future.) It was already foreshadowed which of the characters will have the power to open gates, and it's not Will. Also, don't trust everything that Henry/001/Vecna says. It seems like he's creating an army of brainwashed children in his mind world, but don't ignore the possibility that he may also be intentionally choosing children who were born with some kind of latent magic (like El and Kali and now Will). The smartest way to bamboozle people is to lie with the truth but withhold your actual methods and intentions. For the next month, I'm going to keep watching S5 reactions. Witnessing people react to those 3 big reveals is priceless.

Just finished watching. Yeah this is my favorite episode in the series. So tense and so many revelations. Also that one shot near the end when the Demos were killing all the army people was brilliant. I love that they didnt ignore Kali even though her episode and storyline from season 2 was negatively received. She is just as much a victim as El and i personally really like her character. I hope she becomes important in part 2. Great reaction as always. And thank you for taking time out of your day during the holidays.

I thought that big wall on the edge of the upside down was just the end of hawkins and showing that the upside down doesnt exist outside of hawkins.

there was a gate in Russia though in seasons 3 & 4 so it definitely exists everywhere

I'm just left wondering if these children aren't "weak" (Holly doesn't seem anything like what he's describing), or that they, instead, are like all of the other children that were experimented on, they all are, to one degree or another, "Sorcerers", although I would classify them as Psionicist myself, but Sorcerer is probably easier to digest. (side note - apparently psionics appeared in D&D as far back as 1976 in the Eldritch Wizardry supplement and 1978 in AD&D 1st ed per Wikipedia, which is where I remember using in back in the late 80's). But yeah, I don't think those kids are weak or damaged. I think they have the capability to have power that he wants to use to "remake the world", and he's just blowing smoke up Will's ass to try and make him doubt himself.
