Yeah this is again another episode of info dump which may require a few rewatches and notes. Interesting trivia: the title of this episode (Attack Titan) in Japanese and Mandarin is actually the word for word title of this show (Attack on Titan / 進撃の巨人 / 進擊的巨人). In Japanese and Mandarin "進撃の巨人 / 進擊的巨人" can mean the "Attack Titan" (Eren's titan name) and "Attacking Titan/Attack on Titan " (name of the show),. It is quite a shame the title translation didn't exactly get through to English.

I don't believe they said the titans advance technology except thousands of years ago when they helped build roads, structures, farms, buildings. The advances in tech is because they didn't isolate on an island and make their citizens forget a bunch. However, the scout packs are an example of tech the island has that the Marly people don't

How that immediately came to your head when you thought about how ghrisha titan looks like both his sons 😂😂 that’s how I was too girl

Matthew Bowers

Fritz was the original name of royal line, but they changed it on the island at some point to protect themselves and set up fake fritz kings. So the fritz left in Marley still used the fritz name at least in private, they probably had some different fake name to protect themselves from the Marly people.

I’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet because around now is really the only appropriate time to… But the at the end of each episode where it says to be continued there are two land masses at an ocean between them with a ship. It’s been staring at us in the face the whole time!!!

Jaime Diaz

One step closer to Season 4!!!!

Orion Blue

So it's infact not a weird translation. The creator of the manga wanted the english name as Attack on Titan. Before this the fans called Eren's titan the Rogue titan, which I think is a fitting name too

Mikasa lost weight because she's sad- just found out eren is going to die at age 23 and armin is going to be dead at 28

Reginald

To be accurate! Annie can ALERT titans, zeke actually controls them. How and why is spoiler Think of Annie’s scream as doing a “hey guys, I’m a nice tasty shifter that can turn you back human” While zeke’s is “you do as I say”

Reginald

I think the transfer consciousness thing is an armor only skill

Reginald

Wouldn’t be the first time a government unalived a whole nation for resources

Reginald

Reiss is a fake name. Historia is really a royal. She is related to zeke distantly

Arimpact

Mikasa lost weight because she just found out she’ll lose her family in max of 13 years.

lolol the thing about this show is that it’s pretty direct. there’s hardly any sort of “misinformation” that they give you. it’s more like pieces to a puzzle so tbh you can trust a lot of what they say. you’re technically learning it with the main group as you go!

Emi

I always thought it was that she didnt eat that much because she didnt wanna go to the bathroom with eren in the next cell 🤣

Timothy Mills

She won't be able to handle S4 lol
