FULL LENGTH REACTION

So in anticipation for this reaction (as well as season 4) I actually watched all of your reactions for the first time in about five days( the first three I only had a few hours to watch before work, but the next two or the weekend so I plowed through season three then) The only reason I didn’t start sooner is because I really didn’t want to watch the English version (I get why you choose the English, but everything just sounds so much more cooler in Japanese) This show has the greatest foreshadowing I’ve ever seen, and you’ll definitely understand that after you get to a certain point in season 4

"I don't think killing your enemies makes you free..." Wise words. Let's see if Eren is just as wise. After watching this episode, I felt the opening intro animation (song is called Red Swan) where we see Eren standing in the water and staring off into the horizon with little Eren trying to get his attention is even more sad and devastating. You did it! You finished season 3 and now the crazy roller coaster of AoT continues in season 4. Can't wait for your reactions! Btw, those weren't pigs in the vision. They were the dogs that killed Grisha's sister.

There's a clue that Ymir is from Marley in season 2 when she is able to read the can that has "herring" written on it. Not only could she read the word, but herring are saltwater fish, so the people from paradis had never encountered them. Ironically, this is also a slight "red herring" as it pulls suspicion away from Reiner and puts it onto Ymir 😁.

Alright~ we're done with the "intro". The real show now begins. Ask and you shall receive. You'll definitely love S4. SO EXCITED!!!

I just have to say that Mikasa IS an Eldian, but she's not a Subject of Ymir -- in the same way that someone can be American, but not necessarily a Caucasian. Eldia is a nation. Subject of Ymir is a distinct race of people that can turn into titans.

Eren saw Fae's body in the river after she was killed by dogs. It gave him a reminder at that moment he was conversing with Armin about the "cruelty" of the world which is a major theme throughout this show. Multiple characters, like Eren, Mikasa, and Bertholdt have said the line, "This world is cruel" as this reminder brought Eren back to recognizing that there's ugliness beyond the beauty of the sea.

Kevin Fog

Well, her dad was an Ackerman, so only her mother was eastern. She is still a subject of Ymir.

I don't think you paid much attention to the show. Can't really say more without spoilers, but Mikasa is still a subject of Ymir. If you've watched the entire show that should be obvious

I don't think you paid much attention to the lore. The Ackerman line is the result of tampering with genetics. They are connected to the Paths, it's how they can access their innate talents passed down from their ancestors. It's also how they are able to see that "announcement". But they aren't Subjects of Ymir and it's because of this that they can't turn into titans.

Flock wasn't there when Ervin refused receiving the Titan Power, it was his choice to give it to Armin instead of him, there was no debate about who should of been saved in that moment, it had to be Armin, and Ervin knew that, even though he expected to die on the battlefield, but fortunately survived the encounter, it was still his choice to refuse taking it for himself when Armin was in a far more critical state being completely charred. I'm looking forward to what S4 will bring. I expect Eldians are going to war with Marley, because if they don't do anything about Marley, they're just going to come and wipe them out instead, so in that kind of situation what do you really do? You wouldn't just sit by idly and let them take you first. You'd want to take action first. War is never good, but there seems to be no other way. Also there are Attack on Titan Movies, but it's a Live-Action adaptation thats split in to 2 movies, just titled Part 1 and Part 2, there is technically a 3rd Live-Action adaptation but it's a 3 Episode mini-series that focuses on Hange Zoë doing Titan research.
