Some people said that S4 was "unwatchable" because of the different animation style due to the studio change from Wit to Mappa. I can't speak for other people's tastes in art style. But in no way was S4 "unwatchable" for me -- far from it. S4 was a BANGER and I enjoyed every minute of it. The action, the music, the pacing, voice acting, and the emotions that the show delivered was still top notch. Just because there's a different style visually doesn't mean it's a "wrong" style.

To answer a few questions (that are not spoiler related) they called that one Titan Galliard so yimr was definitely eaten. Those kids are all trying to earn the armored Titan, I believe, because his time is coming to an end, even if it is a few years away. I believe you asked “how do they have this anti-Titan technology” well war tends to drive technology in a certain direction, but also technology just advances in general Also, it should be very clear with the armbands and everything, but this is very clearly supposed to remind you of the Jews in Nazi Germany, only real difference is that they’re not trying to exterminate them all and instead use them as Canon fodder Also I had my own theories about Falco at the time and his role in the story based on the fact that we opened on him and the ending song also did, but I won’t share those now He also said something about what if Erin and Zeke had a fist fight, I obviously won’t tell you anything about that, but it is good that you have in your head that Erin touching people with royal blood might do some things

MAPPA is actually considered a great studio so it's surprising to hear people didn't like it. Personally I thought it was an improvement

Even if they have Zeke turn a bunch of people into Titans, he's also on a 13 year timer, and will have less time than Armin. That doesn't give them long to subjugate the entire world. And after that, they have a bunch of Titans they need to control. They did a good job making you cheer for the bad guys in this episode. Some people just love Reiner.

I just liked the art style of seasons 1-3 more. I only watched the first 2 episodes of season 4 but was put off by the new style. It has that... rotoscoped feeling to it. I can't really explain it clearly. And I like MAPPA. Loved Jujutsu Kaisen.

Quick clarification, Commander Magrath exposited on Colt's fate in this episode. I'm paraphrasing, but in his words, "Colt, listen, you're next in line to inherit the Beast Titan. You need to take a page from Zeke's book and learn how to lead". The other four young soldiers are all competing to inherit the Armor Titan. Zeke's successor is Colt, he's already been chosen. Hope you like Season 4!

They are currently working on a popular anime called Chainsaw Man. Colt is the candidate for Beast while Gabby is for the Armored. Asking great questions as usual! A lot of them will be answered over the next few episodes.

Dropping Eldians on the fort and turning them mid-air was crazy work. Cos remember, only the Nine special Titans can turn back into humans. So even if you were lucky enough to not go splat you'll end up a mindless giant thing wandering around eating people. Only if you happened to come across one of the Nine could you have any hope of turning back. Which is why I think Marley try to carefully control who gets to be a "Warrior" and probably why they're basically giving it to kids. Brainwash them into thinking they can be "one of the good ones" and competing for the "honour" of being the next Marleyian special weapon.

To be fair with you, I've liked Reiner since I first saw him. Even after knowing the fact that he is the Armored Titan. I just knew he got that "lost" vibe in him and I have a soft spot for those people. So this season, the story, is just perfect for me.
