They know about Ackerman's from Reiner and Zeke warning them as a special threat to titan shifters, but I'm not sure they are aware of any particular significance to that family line as opposed to both Ackerman's just being exceptional individuals.

And on reiners titan form at the end it is defiantly just a half assed transformation.

yeah its at this point where the show is suddenly a different genre.

Something I learned while watching AoT is that our allegiances/loyalty to certain characters are very fluid as the story progresses. You can go from love, to hate and then love again very quickly. It will be interesting to see how you react and respond as season 4 progresses. Next episode... I'm expecting tears galore. Hope you had tissues on hand!

The intel from Zeke and Reiner. The line from Zeke in 4x02 to Magath. "We'd do well to remember it isn't just their Titans that pose a threat." Scene transition of Levi and Mikasa flashback to Reiner waking up. Shorthand for saying the Ackermann's were the threat.

And just like that, possibly the most innocent character in attack on titan has the highest kill count. Also yeah, at this point it's at this point in the series that there are no clear sides, but that's what makes season 4 pretty good because it's no longer black and white. Now it's seemingly only shades of grey.

Truly one of my favorite episodes in anime. We all know for a split second when the intro song came on you thought the episode ended. Side note I find it amusing they reserved two titans just to defend against levi. Also the titans in the walls are collosal in size, but they don't have the colossal explosion power.

Zeke is aware of the ackerman bloodline already. They're important in royal titan lore and he is a royal after all.

Anime series like these that gets deeply in to politics always brings a lot to the table because they are equally relatable to real-life and builds connections to certain events like this show having parallels to WW2 and Nazi Germany.
