NO Spoilers! I promise. China dropped the bombs(at least on the U.S. they were on the verge of losing their war with America) triggering a MAD (mutually assured destruction) event worldwide Oct 23, 2077, now who was responsible for the lead up to it is the real question. F.E.V. was developed by the American corp. west tec in 2077 in an attempt to create super soldiers and is responsible for a significant number of issues post war including a fair number of mutant species many others deathclaws, cazadores, nightstalkers, etc were genetically engineered before the war by various corporations. I will say we haven't seen the Enclave for a while they are capable for being the super-secret bad guys, but it could be an unknown entity.

If you want to read about something in the games that was an easter egg in this episode; it is safe and spoiler-free to look up info about the robot the weird guy was flirting with before Hank whacked him in the head. The robot is a "Fully Integrated Security Technetronic Officer" a.k.a. FISTO. But I'm not sure you want to know more about Fisto. Hahaha

That epsiode is a huge turning point and it left me quite a bit shocked honestly...😱 So it was the simple solution, House has a doppelganger...😅 If the F.E.V. is involved in phase 2 of the Vault experiments, I have an inkling where this might go. I don't go into it to avoid spoilers from the game lore, but if it is, it gets dark...😨 When Barb and Cooper arrived at the hotel Hank can be seen talking with two of the assitants that Norm thawed in Vault 31, the redhead and the guy with the glasses who felt sad because the mall was gone...🤔 I think Hank transported the cold fusion for Barbara in his briefcase, thats why he is handcuffed to it and was told he is a possible assassination target. I think the snakeoil salesmans head didn't explode because he wanted to participate and maybe that was key. Hank needs to get to a certain frequence to wipe the brain of a person, but all others (as far as we've seen) resisted against the manipulation and their heads exploded, but he didn't, he wanted his brain to be deleted...🤔 I have a wild theory. I may be way off here, but I think Barv is Janey or Barb. More likely Janey. We didn't see Barbara or Janey in their cryopads, so I'm not convinced they're still in there. What if they got out like 80 years ago or so and vanished with the rest of the missing Vault-Tec personnel? The name reminded me in season 1 of Barbara (Barv=Barb), but I thought we would never see Barv and Ma June again, so I discarded that thought. But maybe Janey got out a long time ago, took the name Barv and lived her life in the wasteland? The hair would match, the skin color would match...🤔😅 The fake shop salesman that Lucy killed, set the prices over the top high, which is why Lucy stole the drugs instead of paying for them, she couldn't afford it. The powerfist was a bonus. We start to see the next changes in Lucy. She steals and she kills a man (albeit not on purpose). She will change, but not to be a villain ( I hope...🙈). I think she begins to realize that the Ghoul was right when he said "You're me, just give it a little time." That moment has come. She begins to lose herself and become someone new. The Ghouls betrayal (as understandable as it is) destroyed so much of what was left of the old lovable and trusting Lucy. And she put all her suppressed emotions into that hit with the power fist in the end. The Ghoul was visibly shaken by what he did, because he actually liked Lucy, but he is trapped in a lose-lose-situation and opted for his family. You can see how fond he became of Lucy when he actually called her "Lucy" for the first time, not Ms. McLean, vaultie or the like...😥 I think when Hank wanted Lucy to go home, he didn't necessarily mean Vault 33, because that is where phase 2 of the experiment will happen. It could be a vault where she is safe and far away from the experiments, somewhere that Hank thinks of as their new home...🤔 Norm and his group are at the former Vault-Tec headquarter, you've seen it already in season 1. This is where Cooper listened to his wife proposing to drop the bombs themselves...😊 Claudia could be Norms salvation. She didn't get mad at him despite he used them and destroyed their promised career. They seem to like each other. Maybe the others ban these two from their group or they can escape...🤔 There are some discrepancies with the date of the end of the world. House calculated it for April 2065 and then corrected it to March 2065. But we know that the world ended in October 2077 and their talk must happen in 2077, I don't get the dates together...🤔 House seems to think Barbara isn't solely working for Vault-Tec, makes sense since Hank wasn't either. But if not for House, for whom? I have an idea, but again, can't say for spoiler reasons...😅 I believe Cooper got sh**faced because he sees his whole world crumbling down around him. Surrounded by mad people, everything stopped making sense...🤔 As I said, lots of food for thoughts on this one, can't wait for your next reaction...😊

House didn't calculate the world ending in 2065 he got the calculated results on that date. It's worded wierd and on a second rewatch in realized what he said.

silverarrow06

ah, okay thanks for clearing that up...😊

But also, the world ends on Halloween, so either there's other variables that haven't been accounted for or his math is wrong.
