OH hell yeah. One of my fave films of all time

David Lonewolf Wright

YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Watching right now! I am glad you enjoyed it. It is a super fun movie that always leaves me with a smile. Now I feel like I need to rewatch 10 Things I hate About You. I also appreciate that you at least recognized the name Chaucer as I have yet to see any other reactor do so. I think one of my English classes had us read one of the stories from the Canterbury Tales, I just don't remember which one.

Regi Todd

The villain music didn't have to go so hard. But I'm very happy it did.

Ash Davis

The Dark Knight was my first Heath Ledger movie. I didn’t see A Knight’s Tale until college. I was floored by how absolutely different the performances were, and instantly understood why he was so popular before he ever even took on the Clown Prince of Crime. Such a natural and easy talent!

If you want more Rufus Sewell, Dark City (1998) is one of the coolest movies ever made. Make sure you watch the Directors Cut. The theatrical cut has a beginning narration imposed upon it by the studio that spoils the movie.

Patrick Waldeck

Obviously the swoosh on the armor is a little joke for the sake of the movie but Nike in Greek mythology was the goddess of Victory and a handmaiden on Athena. It would make a lot of sense to use her symbol as a maker's mark. The Black Prince was a real guy and considered to by the greatest and most noble knight of his generation. He gave the French absolute hell in the Hundred Years War but died before he became king, forever changing the course of English history. His 10 year old son Richard II ascended to the throne instead, and he was such a terrible king he was deposed by the nobles of England and starved to death in captivity.

Buck Rogers

Usually I'm a stickler for historical accuracy, but I make an exception with this movies attempt to use music to link modern and medieval sensibilities.

Vexkun

Remember that time The Joker teamed up with King Robert Baratheon, Hoban "Wash" Washburn and Vision! :P I love this movie so much!

Yes! One of my favorites

Clicked immediately. Two cool bits of trivia When nobody reacts to Chaucer in the sword ring, that's the real reaction of extras, they filmed the movie in the Czech Republic and not all the local extras spoke English so they missed their cue until Mark Addy says yay. As part of rehearsal the director sent the actors playing William and crew out for few nights of pub crawling to build up chemistry and make the on screen comradery seem more natural. Source: DVD BTS stuff.

The other names you might recognize but not realize where from are Roland, played by Mark Addy, or... Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones, and Kate, played by Laura Fraser, or... Lydia in Breaking Bad.

Garrick Smalley

Upgraded to watch this. The people hanging in the background when they were choosing what to do were criminals, they were put there as a warning.

Matthew Vandiver

You gotta watch Rufus Sewell in Dark City(1998): The Director's Cut now. He is so good in that.

Alkaris

It's been a LOOOOOOONG time since I've seen this movie, I probably seen it a handful of times because other people be watching it whenever I hangout at their house for a hangout nights or party nights. I completely forgot that I even watched this movie before until it started playing.

Nathaniel Castle

This is a joy of a movie, makes me laugh every time. Although I wont lie its been a very long time since I last saw it. The music was definitely a wonderful addition and definitely cemented that sports movie feel to it
