Pacific Rim is one of the very best giant robot movies I've ever seen that definitely doesn't have any sequels to it and you should trust me implicitly when I say this.

Just be honest homie. it has sequels and spin-offs and they're terrible. You don't have to pretend trash doesn't exist. Just be real. They're by different people. They're poorly written, have no heart, and are bad.

it took me 6 episodes to be down with taking the 1000+ ep journey. after seeing your reactions for a while (specially doctor who but followed way before)I know you'd be hooked in 6 episodes or less lol

What's sad is that Del Toro proved you could make a silly concept blockbuster that was still incredibly well-crafted, and the studios still immediately said 'no, it's the concept alone people liked, why bother with the craft bit?'
