I just love this show. So sad that we're approaching the end. Gotta be frustrating to realize where you heard a word before, and it turns out to be an alternate reality. Ha

This is, probably, my favorite episode of the season. My favorite part is Noranti's comments on religion. It's so great. Also, I'm tearing up over Chiana lamenting the death of a rat! There are so many great moments here. I really miss Zhaan in this episode. Imagine if she could've made it to Earth? What if she had gone to South America instead of or accompanying Noranti? What would she have contributed to this episode? I think I shall eat some fatty foods today. My frog-like alien sovereign commands it!

This episode always takes me by surprise whenever I re-watch the show. It's so unlike everything that comes before it. I really enjoyed the nuanced and thoughtful multi-discpline, multi-faceted study each crew member received on the show. This really is the companion piece to A Human Reaction, and I'm glad season 4 allowed us to linger a bit on the consequences of John's return to Earth.

I completely adore this episode. The documentary framing is just so fun, and it's nice to get to see the characters through a different lens. And I always get a kick out of Bobby pestering D'Argo into tongue-whipping him. I love how much you love this show. It's been an absolute joy to watch your journey, to see you love it (and sometimes hate it) so much along the way. I've watched this show from start to finish dozens of times since the original broadcast, and it's changed the way in which I experience it because I've seen it so many times and know it so well. Watching along with you has allowed me to experience and appreciate the show anew in a way I haven't been able to for some time, and I am endlessly grateful for that, because I absolutely love this show.

"I want to share this with everyone." That's how you know that this show is dear to you, and makes you one of us loony Farscape fans. The initial jump into the show can be daunting ("uh muppets? what?"), but one gets used to that fairly quickly (and becomes a big advocate for it) because the actors play off one another so well, and the writing is a strong contender for the most well-written sci-fi tv series ever; I put it up there as being on the same podium as the greats (Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone and pre-2009 reboot Star Trek, to name a couple)! Perfectly understandable to be emotional about coming up to the end of the story, as it's such a great and moving one. Farscape knows how to tell its story with layers and nuance that really grab you, exploring complex or complicated situations & characters without ever having to resort to the use of wall-breaking polemics and ideological framing that so many sci-fi & fantasy writers on other properties use mistakenly for easy "beats", never understanding or maybe never caring that doing those things will very often quickly date and diminish the story being told. The Farscape story remains timeless (almost without exception) in large part because the themes and ideas it explores are universally understood human conditions and philosophies, ones we've struggled with and striven towards over many thousands of years. And it will remain one of my very favorite stories to revisit frequently, even though it's always tinged with a bit of sadness in knowing that end it must.
