Btw the fossoways are still around in thrones. Sam’s sister mentions her father is making her marry symun fossoway in season 6

Yes, they originate from this episode. They both fought for Stannis and got absolutely spanked at the Blackwater.

Dunk said at the end of episode 2 that he was Ser Arlan's legacy and that "we will show them what his hand has wrought". This is what Ser Arlan's hand has wrought. Not skill at arms, but honor, and bravery, that inspires true knights to fight alongside Dunk for what is just and true. I've waited long years to see these last lines by Ser Duncan delivered on screen. I must admit that I wasn't the biggest fan of them being undermined by yet more poop humor, but I guess that's what really tickles Ira Parker. Still, they brought it back around, "Are there no true knights among you??" was as good as I could have hoped for.

Steffon is Cider Hall, Raymun founds the cadet branch (I guess thar's what it's called) at some point soon after this episode. It's worth pointing out too that (both sides of) the Fossoways only "defected" to Stannis after the death of Renly. There should be Fossoways appearing in the coming season of House of the Dragon too.

Now that was a well deserved moment to use the GOT theme...😍 The fart moment was so despicable - what a way to let us exactly feel how Ser Duncan feels...🙈 The moment we saw the empty chair in the VIP lounge I knew that Baelor would join on Duncans side. They absolutely dragged it out as much as possible though and successfully rose the tension to the max. I was biting nails thinking "Baelor will show up! Will he show up? Please show up!" ...😅 As of now it is fair to say, I absolutely fell in love with this show...😍
