PLEASE watch the opening & ending once you’ve finished the season & are moving onto the 2 movies to finish it out, they are the best ones in the whole show but the opening at the very least IS spoilery 😅. i have been loving your reactions to this series, angela! :)

Yes, with regard to waiting, we had to wait four years for season two and after that it was about a new half of a season every eight or 10 months,

For season 4. they waited about 8-9 month from the end of the first half to the start of the second. Quite a long time after that cliffhanger! I know you are going to get a lot of flak for not watching the new intro, but I support you and please continue to stick to your guns. I understand wanting to be surprised. And after following you for a while now, I know you will probably read A LOT into some of the images in the intro. After several re-watches and watching many reactions, it's always fascinating to me when content creators such as yourself are still partial and emphasizing allegiances this season. For example, "us" and "them" when referring to certain people. I don't remember what my initial take was, but I'm looking forward to seeing any changes!

I think that watching them at the end of season 4 part 2 is way too late (because I fear Angela might forget this and skip the openings and endings entirely which would be a terrible loss for overall experience) For endings it can be watched anytime for openings after the middle of this part is fine.

Luckily I watched aot after it had all released. I never had to wait. That would have killed me. Still one of the only shows to ever hold a candle to avatar the last airbender for me

Oh yeah, this episode was a lot. Also, I can understand you not watching the intro, but I can't wait to see your reaction when you're able to see it. Regardless, great reaction as always, it hurt so much seeing Levi like that 😢

Crazy take on Magath, but I've always found him to be far more sympathetic towards Eldians than he leads on, especially with the warrior candidates like Gabi and Reiner. He's absolutely done some inexcusable actions, but he's always seemed to have an underlying care towards the Eldians, albeit heavily suppressed due to the role he plays in Marley's militarist state. When he talks about the "2000 years of hatred", he's more referring to the plan with Willy Tybur to create a separation between the Eldians in the walls (particularly Eren) and the ones that are being oppressed on the mainland, proving beyond a reasonable doubt to the world that there are "good eldians". Obviously, they aren't truly evil, but it creates a pretext to the world governments that while the "island devils" are the true threat to the world, it is the Eldians who on the mainland who are saving it.

I watched them as they came out and nothing bad happened. It's not like there is anything unexpected that is spoiled in the opening that would completely ruin your experience, at least it didn't for me.
