ughhhhh i can’t watch this until i get back from work in 13 hours …. 13 long slow hours😭😭 i can’t believe this is it though. I had waited so long for you to react to this show & now it’s over ☹️😣😞 well i watched your reaction to the last chapter when i was dying from a fever & it emotionally devastated me so at the very least, i should be more mentally stable this reaction 🤣 ugh. i hope you really enjoyed this ride, it was an honor watching you get so attached to all these characters & stories just like i did all those years ago. No show can compare to what this show does.

No show has ever captured the cycles of hatred and violence humanity goes through, and the high cost we pay for it like AOT. I really appreciate that it never tries to act like there is some easy answer or simple solution either. As long as there are people it will probably never end. Which makes the scene at the end of the credits so perfe t. Even after mankind has nearly wiped itself out, its just going to start over again

Wow, it finally over. I thoroughly enjoyed rewatching AoT and journeying with you. I fully expected you to erupt in tears when Connie and Jean transformed and it was fulfilled. Reiner continues to be one of my favorite character arcs of all time, and his redemption never ceases to move me and hits harder after another rewatch. Annie as well, but since she was locked away for more than half of the story, Reiner still takes the cake. Although her OVA is still one of my favorite storylines. Thanks again for this reaction and thanks to your editor as well! Btw, if you ever miss the characters and voice actors, I recommend (just for fun) watching Attack on Titan: Junior High. All the same VAs in both Japanese and English.

This series has been a lot, there's been so much that's happened, and now that it's over I'm not sure what to think about it. They really went full Nazi right at the end, which has been one of the biggest things people had pointed out about this series is the Nazi imagery comparisons, replicating that stuff in a different setting. We lost so many good characters along the way, ones who didn't need to die.

If you want an explanation for what exactly it was Ymir needed from Mikasa, I can give it to you. If you'd prefer to leave it up to your own interpretation, then you should stop reading here. Ymir loved king Fritz. She loved him more than anything, even her own life, despite all the terrible stuff he has done. She couldn't let go of that love, even after sacrificing her life to save his. She simply couldn't imagine how else things should have, could have gone for her, how she could have broken free from that love. And then along came Mikasa, a girl who loved another guy more than anything in the world, even when that guy slaughtered millions of people. And that girl needed to make the chocie that Ymir couldn't. Ymir needed to see for herself a woman with that same love in her heart that she had, overcome that love in order to kill the person she loved. Mikasa choosing to kill Eren, despite her love, was what Ymir was moving towards. What she needed to see to finally know that it was possible. That things COULD have gone differently for her, if she simply hadn't dodge that spear (as shown in that quick flashback during the scene between her and Mikasa). That is what finally set her free.

This was lovely to watch, I'm glad I saved the specials for your reaction, wanted to share in the blindness. Definitely gave me a lot to think about. Fantastic writing from start to end. For a bit, I theorized that Ymir was controlling Eren's will and actions, but no, she just aligned with him since their goals were aligned, Occam's Razor style. Thanks to you and your editor for the hard work and dedication on this, it was very fun. Goth Mikasa got me actin' kinda up, tho, ngl.

loved falling in love with this show and all of its characters again with you. something i never expected from this channel but it was amazing. eventually if you get into other anime Vinland Saga or maybe Death Note would be up your alley but dang AOT is peak.

A fantastic series, it was a joy to watch alongside you. Now that you've finished that show, I highly recommend watching the "Hiroyuki Sawano Attack on Titan Suite" on YouTube. It's a select few live performances of some of the best songs in the show (including the vocalists). Even if not for a reaction, I think you'd enjoy.
