Just a premature comment during your intro: Matt doesn't feel the way he does about justice vs. killing only because he's a lawyer. It's also his religious background. It's not for him to play God and pass the ultimate judgment.

Well, we certainly got a reminder of that at the end. ... 1) It made sense to cry over Daniel. It was great to see him wrestle and make the right choice - it was more surprising that he went as far to the dark side as he did, but BB was always the person who anchored him, and I could never quite believe he would turn her over. Your idea that he couldn't live with what he did also seems right on. I wonder, with it being Michael Gandolfini, whether there was some thought to having him do the reverse of what Tony Soprano would have done. Like Tony might feel sick about it but he would kill the snitch. Daniel feels sick but lets her go. 2) I see what you mean about Matt being great for the court of public opinion. But Karen's trial is also a trap for him, so I'm worried about how this goes. 3) Matt just has series-protagonist healing powers. With maybe a little mystical ninja (or okay mystical anti-ninja) something? 4) Luke being "overseas," I assume, means "Mike Colter is not available for this season."

Oh PS - after you reminded me of it, I looked up the podcast on youtube, and yes, Michael Gandolfini is there for this ep (maybe he's the regular host?) and so are LIli Taylor and the actor who plays Buck.
