Another thing nobody notice is that after Stefan declare his love for Katherine and she enter in her room, Damon was there waiting for her. The conversation between Stefan and Katherine implyed that they only kissed, but the conversation with Damon imply they were already spleeping together. So Damon was right, he was in a relationship with Katherine already when Katherine decided to spleep with Stefan too. That is why Damon though he was the one she loved and Stefan was "extra entretainmet" and she played him to making believe that, to maniputal the two of them, palying them agaist each other. It's intersteing how Damon was dating women the father never approved, as he said to Jenna, as a defiance, and Stefan would never do that on his face, but keeping it secret from him. That is the major difference between Stefan and Damon, one is all about preserving his pubblic reputation, the other is all about nonconfomity, and be true to himself, no matter what people thinks of him. This is the fondamental to understand what motivates the two brother, why they act the way they do. Stefan priority is to keep his good brother reputetion intact, as much as he can, he act consequently and develop diplomatic skills to help him in that, his a smooth talker and when that doesn't work he is a great poeple manipulator. Damon has given up in convincing people he is good, his priority is doing what he feels is right, what keeps him alive, what makes him happy, and he has to fight or that constantly because life was harsh with him in that department, he feels very powerfully the injustice of not being loved by his father, and by everybody the way he feels he should, because he know he is not the bad brother others labeled him.

Nobody mentions this but it looks like Demon was aware that katherine was with both Stefan and Demon at the same time but Stefan wasn't aware of Katherine's involvement with Demon. I can only hope that he wasn't aware that she also began compelling him.

If there was any character who's backstory I'd love to see, it's Lexi. How did she become a vamp, when, what was she like before? these are all questions that were never answered <3

I would ship Stefan & Queen Katherine over Elena any day, at least they wont be boring. Besides being a badass Katherine is brilliant

Remember his bite is fatal to vampires. Damon has every right to kill mason. u heard Mason, he has no control when he turns, just one bite and Damon,Stefan or Caroline r dead

Mason even admitted he had no control when he turns. He can't guarantee that he will always make it to somewhere that he can't escape from before turning and keep everyone else safe. Damon knows that none of them are safe while he's around. Mason could simply go back to Florida and do whatever he was doing before.
