Regardless of the variation path you choose or whether or not you decide to let the bridge collapse, you will get this choice in all playthroughs. Just because you run to save Zikar, it doesn't mean you will save him.

It's really an easy choice. Just save Zikar. Who needs a bridge or army strength, am I right? 😋 As long as your relationship with Zikar is neutral/good, you can't fail.
