Hugh Mungus

I am so sorry, we will all miss him.. thank you for everything you do

Toggy

Re-upped my subscription for Scoot ❤️ (and Adam)

what am I doing here

Glad you're taking the time to look after yourself, best of luck

Gabe

Much love to you Adam, you have my support - keep doing what keeps your passions alive. It's what we're all here to see anyway <3

CNH Sorenson

Adam, you are much more than the average content creator - you're a real artist. As a long-time fan, I fully endorse any healthy strategy you have to focus on making the art that means the most to you, because that's why we're all here. Endless love for Scott, and we trust you with continuing to celebrate him through the recordings that are yet to be released.

Brennan Keller

Best of luck to the future of the channel

Seth Carter

Can’t burn the candle at both ends forever man. Take your time and recuperate. You’ve been through a lot and still made damn good content. You’re gonna go through a lot more and we know you’ll still come through with funnies and well articulated admiration and critiques. We love yah Adum (in the least parasocial way possible)

Eli

50 stupid little bones to help adums stupid little bones put more of their focus on the good stuff! Sure deal!!

Gilly

So sorry to hear about Scott. Sometimes it takes a tragedy to force us to reevaluate. If you’re still in Atlanta—hit us up. We’ll catch a movie.

Bradley

I would much prefer my monthly dollar go towards passion projects than panic projects. Make what you want to make, I'll stick around for it!

DW Fargo

Adam, I've always felt like you hide behind your webcam and your quirky friends. No disrespect, just being real. I agree that YMS is more than one person. The next year or so will be tough -- no doubt about that. Subscribers and $$ will ebb and flow like any business, but the opportunity is in the process of growth and pain. There are people out there who are dying to learn about Adam YMS. You make yourself too small for them to see you. Scoot was a big personality who left a legacy to build upon. Build on it. There's no shame in taking sponsors. There's no shame in expanding your Patreon. Now is the time to stand on the platform that you built with your partners and f**king own it. You are the Adam Rogan of the YMS Experience. Get that Alpha Brain and Blue Chew deal and own this space. Let me out of here.

Rhandos

Adum, please take all the time you need to grieve and to find your rhythm again. Your videos are unique, artistic, well-researched and incredibly entertaining. You don’t need to pressure yourself for x content per month. Just upped my pledge to support you through your finding phase <3

A. Mori

I'd fallen really behind with your content lately, so I'm so very sorry to hear about Scoot and that life's been treating you so rough. We all need a big change sometimes when things just aren't working out. Take whatever time you need to look after yourself, and I hope you're able to get to a much more positive place soon.

Trevor August

Adam I just like you I really don’t give a fuck what you do I would prefer you are happy!

Bruce

We'll miss him forever. RIP Big Cat. Hope you can get back in the swing of things soon. Really sucks. I'm so sorry.

Nick Street

We're getting older and life is happening, for you a whole lot of life is happening at once and it's understandable that you need to take time to be a person rather than a content creator. Do what you've gotta do and look after yourself <3

I think I've been watching your content for over ten years now, also been a patron for years (currently at $10/$5 for main/gaming channel). For me the most important factor for whether or not I give to a specific Patreon is that I can trust the person I'm giving to to keep working even if the results of that work are not really visible for months on end. I specifically look for a history of high-quality work which you definitely have (so it may make sense to highlight that). As it is I personally will not scale back my Patreon contributions if there are less frequent uploads.

I am very new to yms but I watched hours of content. You really grew a hella of alot Adam and the recent videos like the flash and madame web are really works of art. I watched each tens of times and discover and still laugh. Please do more of what you like. As a new viewer who really don't like tv and cinema the old videos and quickies are content. Projects like lion king, flash, madame web, unfrosted, little mermaid for me are an experience I just can't get bored of enjoying. Also, I learned so much from your opinions and views in streams and podcasts. I am so sorry for your loss and recent breakup. Please do what you like to do, because the results are really amazing. Hope my very small sub helps. Thank you for the hours of enjoyment Adam and yms team💝

Hey dude, I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time right now. Just wanted to tell you I appreciate your videos keeping me company while I work from home. I can't do much, but wanted to join to send some love. Don't worry about all the fucking nerds. Keep doing what you're doing ✌️

Hi Adam. Been watching your content for a very long time, about 12 years now. You and your friends and your content have been a major part of my life, especially as a movie fan. Please don't feel compelled to churn out content to please us. The algorithm pushes it but your fans are here to support you. My favorite things you make are the videos you love the most. My girlfriend and I watched your video together and when you mentioned your passion projects on the backburner, we both said Synechdoche out loud before you did. The content you love making is the heart of the channel. It is even sad to see you spending your limited and valuable time doing work on content you are not passionate about. Follow your heart and follow your passion and you will succeed. In 2018 I lost my best friend to suicide when he was just in his early 20s. Completely out of nowhere. Even now it's difficult to talk about. You've shown so much strength and maturity in your ability to deal with this situation and speak about it publicly. Don't be afraid to take more time for yourself. It's something I still feel every day and I'm sure it will never leave you either. Being able to follow a life path that would make them proud is the best thing I think we can do to move forward. Like you said with the ads in the video, live up to his will and carry the torch onward. The strongest people struggle the most in secret so don't feel alone. More videos like this would be welcome too as you work thru these feelings. Your fans will support you. The idea of monthly movie reviews is awesome. I think if you aren't excited about a movie (good or bad) you shouldn't even talk about it. Just score and move on. Don't worry about perfectionism in your content but focus on evoking feeling, it's what you're best at. You are an artist at heart, a testament against the claim that critique is not an act of creation. Take your time and make what you think is special. Thank you for everything so far!

Just wanted to say I've been a fan of your content since I was a teenager (I wanna say watching you for over ten years now??). You are one of the very few creators who I have 100% confidence in wherever you decide to go with your content. Clicking on one of your videos always makes my day better. You are a talent and your passion for your work is super admirable. I hope you get all the patreon support you need to keep your editors employed and keep yourself healthy and get you on that sick sick work life balance.

RJECT Moto

This is "The Worst Year of Our Lives". Science needs to work on zombie technology. Love and miss you Scoot.
