I will forever argue that Fight Club is one of the best movies ever made. It's just a favorite of mine - I love Fincher's direction, the dialogue is almost taken right out of the book (which is one of my favorites as well), the soundtrack is great, and it is gay as hell. It's a 10/10 for me, always.

Mr. Mateo

This was a fun ramble, thank you Adum!!

Tyson Mindham

Haha gotta love Adum. Only ever seen Psycho remake.

matticus40

lol why is Adam so hostile to Star Wars?

Uh_Oh_Its_Kreglow

Pulp Fiction was one I liked a lot when I saw it, but film classes in college made me sick of it so fast.

There are a lot of films I haven't seen that I hope to watch based on your reccomendations! (I'm solidly in the "easy to please if it pings my interest" category and pinning down a single movie to watch is a Task. Have not seen.. so many films on this list apparently) Getting to hear your opinions on movies I either love or hate is so fun though and I appreciate your stance on personal perspectives and criticisms. I always look forward to finding out about foreign films from you (especially mexican/spanish ones)!

Mr. Mateo

Have you thought about posting this video onto your you tube page at all? I know this is suppose to be a patreon exclusive video and all but I feel like a video like this would do really well and a lot of your non patreon yms fans would love to hear your thoughts on the imdb 250! IDK just food for thought! Great video!

Weird Vertigo didn’t have a rating on your IMDb before, I remember the unofficial Letterboxd account showing it as a 9/10

I appreciate your opinions and views on films, as the more popular you aren't afraid to criticise or give your take on, even if you find them forgettable or have feelings on them that differ from the general consensus/majority view. But what makes your takes more respectable is that you go out of your way to explain "why" you feel this way, or "why" you consider the movie in that certain way (unless it's Star Wars, which I get). Where as most haters just hate for views/wanting controversy, you describe your hate/lack of shared enthusiasm using apt explanations, film knowledge, worldly exposure, and artist trivia (which often is super impressive). You clearly have a passion, and that you choose to express it the way you do is commendable, well structured, in-depth, detailed, expansive, and often hilarious (and to do this all when you're not feeling great is remarkable). So thank you Adam, this is why I'm a Patron of many years :) xx
