THE SYNCHRONICITY. I’M CRYING IN THE CLUB.

Lee

ALSO A REFERENCE TO THE FIRST CHAPTER! Omg that’s so satisfying. The blush too 😭😭😭🥲

MysticCrystil

OMG Raz's little blush on the "you smell" is oddly adorable

Echo F

Imagine… your on your deathbed and you boyfriend tells you you stink XD I must remind myself that this isn’t a tragedy ToT

Mercedes Woodard

Oh please let someone come and help sul soon 😭 Also, lol Raz, ever the charmer

Rachel

These two are always so tender with each other. Love their expressions. ❤️🥹

Why did this remind me of the movie Cars. And why did I just imagine Sulvain as a car.

Leeds

I fucking can't, oh god 😂😂😂 YOU HAD BETTER WAKE, SULVAIN

Missiek43

Oh my God, does Sulvain want to stay in the church because he "knows" he's not going to last much longer and wants to stay there to be with Raziol as long as he can?!!! OMG I'm literally crying rn. If Sulvain dies, even temporarily, I'm going to need massive therapy. 💔💔😭😭😭😭

Fond Phantom

and they say romance is dead (they’re proof that it’s un-dead, actually)

Terry🌌🩷

"You smell."❤️😂😭 but pls stay awake Sulvain

Tookie

You smell like spices and love 🥺

Ocea Lights

This is just so precious.

ajayburd

Raziol “I Love My Stinky Boyfriend” NovaeComic

Brannen

Well, the Golden River acting as Sulvain's blood would have a unique smell to anyone, not just a vampire.

GrantedDrop

CRYING OVER THE SMELL BAG 🥺🥺😭😭🥺🥺🥺😭😭🥺 oh my god have y'all been sitting on this exact bit since the first chapter!!!?? 😆😆😆 seriously seriously though my heart is so full and I am so 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 about time and these two and how the silly balances the serious and aaaaa 🥺🥺🥺

Same friend. I swear if KaiJu breaks our hearts anymore I'm going to need you all to hold me while I weep. I just can't...

Kirbster

‘Because you smell.’ 😂 I’m reminded of Iroh’s shoe at the end of last airbender. (Also a very touching scene though)

Taylor

I was not expecting that callback 😭

homebody_adventurer

Oh my gosh “because you smell” is so freaking cute paired with that expression I’m screaming

Missiek43
>>135777385

OMG yessss!! When he forgives Zuko and they are both crying in each other's arms??? 😭😭😭

Blusalee

Sulvain, sweetie, you are becoming a bit delusional, it seems. You say you won’t let Raz’s change take him away from you, yet you aren’t sure you are going to stay conscious or wake again if you do pass out. Wouldn’t it make sense to go get help so that won’t happen? That’s what I would do, at least. And yes, that is a nice callback to when they first met, and how Sulvain likes the smell of the spices he carries to “soothe the mind and draw fond memories.” I guess it worked for Raziol as well. I’m sure as someone who studies physiology/medicine/etc. Sulvain would probably be very interested in studying exactly what happened to Raziol as well as the space manticore/kitty when they are in a less dire predicament. I also love that Raz is still wearing Sulvain’s other cloak.

Alys

It’s that he is like “well I think I’m about to DIE” and only wants to hang on to Raz 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Kender

These two are too precious 😭 my heart can't take it!

Eibhlin Brennan

I shouldn't laugh! This is a very serious situation... and yet: 😆😆😆😆😆 Oh Raz, so smooth with that line. But was it the herbs or have his vamp senses been sniffing out the essence of Sulvain? My poor babies seriously need a vacation.

JustAlilBonsi

The art of Novae! It's gone from beautiful to gorgeous! Looking at the fist chapter and jumping back to now - wow!

Meli

That tight hug and the cheek on cheek contact.. Beautiful ! Sul has been desperate to see him again and feeling his skin, his warmth 🥹 it's so nice to finally see them in an embrace

Lee

You can really tell that this was to be the original/final design of Razol. His visual character seems…complete. Like adding fangs to him drew back the curtain to show the real Raz.

Neko-san

Oh my god!! The hug!! The smile!! Raziol's expression in the last panel, he's so precious!! 😭💖💖

I agree. And he has come into his power. His body is more powerful than it was. Perhaps it will allow him to feel some control over his life and help his anxiety. Although, the hard work of healing his trauma is still ahead for both of them. I hope they both can sit down when this is over and share what they went through. I feel like neither one has had anyone to talk to and fully open up to (at least Sulvain hasn't in a long time).

Lee
>>135788069

Alright, that settles it, I need to go find myself a space kitty for my anxiety

Danny Yuki

HE SMELLS 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Danny Yuki

ALSO WHAT DOES SULVAIN MEAN WITH FADING MIND AND WAKING UP WAIT

Meli
>>135830225

Doesn't he just mean he's gonna pass out? (You stressed me out so much rn)

Atlanas E. Kildarin

“Because you smell,” is a callback to the beginning of the comic. I wonder if it’s more than just smell Raziol was picking up, even then.

Elsi

Omg the call back. I love it

Darkhorn

"You smell." Oh, buddy 🤣

Jay Parker

I could not stop myself from laughing so hard!

Laura A Moore

Awwwww, okay but I love looking back to the referenced page and seeing how both of their hair has grown longer :D

Erika

Someone better come soon! Didn't our Magoi girl put a tracer on him or something?

Beloved Sylphaen

Wow, what a change in style since the beginning! I love to have been part of this journey, I cannot wait to see where we're going!

LostGallifreyan

"IF" is a forbidden word, Sulvain! This is not a tragedy!

Nekochan

Oh Starkitty you’re so adorable 🥺💕🌸

Nekochan

I was looking through past pages and noticed Sulvain’s blush is gold 💛🥺✨

Mangsney

Awww, Raziol... 🥹 (Even if it wasn't such a sweet callback, I think Sulvain would be forgiven for not smelling his best right now 😅)

Katie

🫵STINKY (i kid 💖)

Phidippus
>>136312618

That was something I noticed too! Really cool that their appearances change over time a little

Julia

I just love how no matter what Raz does his fringe is always perfectly curled 😭😭

Rin Sparrow

Amidst all the battle… “you smell”! Sign of a great storytelling when a laugh can happen in a scene like this!

Mildred

I live for the intensity of their love!

Elora Kay

'This scene' (old Sulvain's hair jump scare) lol
