Is this the time where someone should bonk him on the back of his head?? 🙃😅

GrantedDrop

Oh Raz 😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰

Jay Parker

I'm waiting for Viv to pop in an knock him out.

egr

so i gotta point out that there's loads of sulvain's blood that's already not in his body. just lick the floor bud.

Alys

DO NOT EAT MAN

JustAlilBonsi

"Why, Razoil, what great big teeth you have!"

Eibhlin Brennan

Raz, my sweet cinnamon roll, there's like a whole massive puddle and soaked clothes you can chow down on before you have to try and eat your boyfriend in the not fun way. Just faceplate into the golden pool before you do something drastic.

Alyssa

Oh Raziol… 😞 Don’t hurt your boo, I know you don’t want to 😭

Fond Phantom

how you managed to make raziol's expression look feral, angry and absolutely out of his mind while also terrified of said feelings is only something only you two can do successfully, kaiju. immediate heartbreak and lump in my throat.

HEY NOW HEY NOW HEY NOW

Atlanas E. Kildarin

Yes there is a lot of gold blood on the floor, but . . . Merlin, *thee* Merlin, just compelled him to get that gold blood directly from Sulvain, so getting it from the floor won’t fix the fact that he still has a compulsion on him to attack Sulvain. Just the fact that he’s resisted the compulsion this long from a literal myth despite his own hunger is amazing. Hold on a little longer, Raziol!

Elsi

Uh oh. Thas not good

Darkhorn

Scared? I'm not scared... you're scared 🥲 Also oh my gosh the expressions on both of them there! This looks like it was a very difficult panel to draw, and must be so rewarding to see now because it is amazing! 💜

Sulvain looks so scared and also exhausted, it’s fantastic (from an art perspective) and agonizing (from a my heart perspective)

I’m thinking - was Sulvain purposefully expecting for this to happen? When Sulvain was bitten by the creature earlier on, a slight change in the creature’s behavior seemed to have occurred in the aftermath. I wonder if the “help” that Sulvain mentioned in the beginning was this moment in time- if Raziol has a taste of the golden ichor -will his behavior change as well to Sulvain’s (and Raz’s) advantage? P.S. Still, Raz, let’s let’s try not to make too much damage, yeah?🥺🙏🫣🤧💛❤️‍🩹🤍

Meli

As scary as they are, I love the opalescent effect on his teeth. So pretty ✨

I think Raz is not going to forgive himself if he hurts Sulvain, he might even run away just to not hurt him 🥺

He is- the fact that he preferred to bite his own hand instead …😖

Blusalee

Poor Raziol, having to bite himself to keep from biting Sulvain. 😭 Is this part of Hargrave’s spell or his natural vampirism taking over, or both? I also wonder how long he can go without having to drink blood. Like, does one drink last a day or so before he starts going crazy again? It would be hard for Sulvain (both due to his current condition and emotionally as well) if he has to fight Raziol off using his necromancer powers like he did when he had the corpses restrain the space kitty creature. It would also reveal to Raz another one of his abilities he doesn’t know about yet. However, there is plenty of blood everywhere he could lick up, and plus, Sulvain keeps coughing up a lot of blood. He could also just kiss him. 😜

Neko-san

Oh no!!! 😭😭😭💔💔💔 That being said: The golden blood and the shine on Raziol's teeth look AMAZING!! Beautiful work!!

The way I interpreted this, Hargrave’s spell isn’t in affect anymore. I think Raziol’s body (more specifically his fingers, on the last page) physically react to the touch of blood after Raziol wiped Sulvain’s mouth. The orangish text COULD imply Hargrave’s spell still affecting him, but I think it’s just Raziol remembering what Hargrave said. Also I can’t believe Raziol hasn’t seen Sulvain’s necromancy in action yet!!

Missiek43

Oh Raziol, this is all so new for you. I can't imagine how frightening this must be. Of all the things in your life that were our of your control, you always had your brilliant mind....now it must battle your body craving blood, as you slowly lose consciousness. And all Sulvain can do is lay there and hope Raz can maintain control.... 😭💔

seriesxiii

God even through that dark pull, he still looks so concerned!!!

Mangsney

Oh Raz no, he's even biting himself to try to stop the hunger... 🥺

Atavaniel

Dare we hope for something like a daylighter equivalent here? Power of love (and necromancy magic) making this into a long term win for both of them? Listen I know we're about to get punched in the gut but the harder the angst the happier the ending feels when its so hard won and deserved.
