😭😭😭😭😭 Please don't be asleep for 100 years like Rip Van Winkle Sulvain!!! You need to see your friends again!!!!!

Fond Phantom

so he’s staying with the embalmer, not vivi? GOD this is SO HARD 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Ty Waldrop

I'm so genuinely excited for where this story is going. This separation arc has paid off in a huge way and I'm so hype to see where you're taking it.

Ocea Lights

He's making it sound like he expects to be gone for quite awhile... 😭 So wait, is Vivi immortal? Did I miss something? He mentions looking for her in the future.

Amaranth

💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

BT

Ahh the anticipation! Can’t wait the big reveal of how long he’ll be down for!

Sasha

the shaking hand 😭😭😭😭😭

Hopefully not so long that he can't see vivi again 😭😭😭

Neko-san

The lighting is so beautiful!!

Missiek43

"In the future" omg how long will he be gone??!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭 I swear this chapter is just trying to kill me with anxiety and grief 😭😩❤️

Glow

Nononononononono. No. No please no.

Meli

This is so painful Yet the colours are so much warmer since Vivi came back on the pages ! Like, bringing hope, and life, and love back on the previously cold blue-grey themed pages. I know it's only the lighting, but it gives me that kind of vibe. Hopefully he won't be gone for too long 😢

Sian Williams

Oh my gosh, this is breaking my heart.

Em

I'm so glad he's awake long enough to talk with Vivi and say some sort of goodbye. These pages are so beautiful and I cannot wait for this next arc.

Lee

The sympathetic smile 😭😭😭😭

JMM

😭😭😭 Will he be returning in the same body? Or will he be taking on another "vessel" so to speak?

Alyssa

*vibrates in chair* I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONSSSSS!!!

Terry🌌🩷

How long are you actually gonna take Sulvain 😭😭

Lee
>>139063816

I think he can only return to his own as he’s got the “gift”

Lee
>>139061534

If he comes back at Vivi is gone I’m gonna lose it

Blusalee

This is so sad, and like everyone else, I have many questions. I’m still not sure I understand what is going on… if we are even supposed to at this point. Like, does he just need time for his body to heal, or is he literally dying (for real) and is going to the land of the dead? Maybe he might have to explain to Death what was going on with Hargrave and why he was forced to go where he did… and hopefully she can help. Or maybe he might do some jobs for her like he said he had done before in return for being able to go back or something. I dunno. So confused… And how long is this going to take? When he says “in the future” I hope it’s not like a hundred years or something. It would be crazy if it’s decades later and he comes back while she is an old lady. And where is she going to tell Raziol he is? Is the embalmer going to keep his body safe while he does what he has to do to be able to return? Anyway, I had a thought… It appears Vivi has known Sulvain for a long time, and has even taken the time to learn his language to more easily speak with him. I know her mother wasn’t supportive of her using magic and tried to keep her from doing so. I wonder if she ran into Sulvain somehow at some point as a child, and he encouraged her and somehow was able to explain to her that she is a magoi. It would have had to have been when she was young, since she is only in her twenties and is already quite accomplished and has studied a great deal. I really want to know how they met/their backstories. And what happened to her parents? Anyhoo, I am rambling… but I love how she is holding his hand and is there for him. Another question… Is Cyrille in the carriage with them? She was with them when they found Sulvain in the church, and now we haven’t seen her. I assume they left straight from there, so is she sitting across from them? (The things that bother my neurodivergent brain… lol) And what about alien kitty? Ahh! Okay I’ll stop for now. Thanks for another great page! I know it’s not a tragedy and I’m sure it will be super great when they FINALLY are able to be together, but you guys sure know how to make it hurt for now.

Lee

I totally get the nd brain thing! I must know EVERYTHING! I’d love to see Sulvain basically raising Vivi 😭 that makes me hurt more to think about rn

Alys

I’m so affected by this scene 🥺 Vivi is working so hard to be strong but it’s the closest we’ve ever seen of her falling apart.

Kass

is.....is that a howls moving castle???🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭

Nekochan

I honestly don’t think it will take that long for Sulvain to recover when I think about it, maybe at most about a year? A year I can handle -w-; A year is actually quite a while, Maybe this has happened to him before? WE MUST STAY POSITIVE FOR NOVAE IS NOT A TRAGEDY ówò

homebody_adventurer

I’m gonna be so sad if he sleeps longer than Vivi’s lifetime

Iselin

oh, Sulvain's confidence that Raziol will control his power..versus me thinking that it will take Raz a long time to control his blood lust and how many casualities will drop dead until he manage it..

Nekochan
>>139100595

I personally think he won’t be asleep for too long, so let’s hope for that 🥺🙂

polialeks

Guys, I think we might actually be dealing with a 100 years time frame. With a standard deviation of two weeks. Place your bets below. 🗓️ 🕰️

BT
>>139083849

I might lol if it’s a year for Sulvain acting such a drama queen about seeing her in “the future”

Lee
>>139131923

I’m gonna say 3 years. 10 tops. But I’d say about 5 for Raziol to control himself

Lee
>>139102853

I can’t imagine how stressed tf out he’s gotta be going from city boy to hiding on the outskirts from a magical goober and his own insatiable hunger

Lee

Nah because if we get a scene of Sulvain meeting Vivi in the field I’ll fucking lose it. “It can’t have been more than a few months” “Sulvain it’s been 70 years”

Meli
>>139131923

Even my husband goes for the 100 years. But I hope less than a decade for both of them ! 😥

Blusalee
>>139131923

I hope it isn't long as well. However Sulvain did mention to Vivi back when she asked if he knows how long she will live (when she was stitching him up after removing the piece of glass) that he hopes she lives until she is "old and gray." I hope it wasn't a foreshadowing for when he will see her next... Also, Hargrave is still going to come after Raziol, so hopefully it won't take too long...

Alys
>>139139665

So bittersweet!! And such an act of love and friendship if Vivi lingered in the field instead of passing on! I… I fear i wanna see it 🥺

Alys
>>139131923

I’m also thinking minimum 100 years, maximum…150? But NO guesses on how long it takes Raz to get ahold of himself, especially if Hargrave is chasing him.

GrantedDrop

Ohhhhhh 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Missiek43
>>139131923

Guys you're scaring me....it never occured to me that he might be gone for 100 years!!!! 😭💀 Stooooppp I can't imagine him gone for that long. Cyrille, Elouan, Vivi, Huygens (Sesam?)...they would all have passed away by then. 😭😭💔💔💔

Missiek43
>>139139665

OMG hush. It can't be that long!!!! 😭😭😭 That would be so sweet and so painful.

seriesxiii

Gang I don't think those modern AUs are AUs 👀👀👀👀👀

Xilenoy 75
>>139131923

My bet is in 10-30 years, maybe Vivi even has a daughter by then or something. I have seen this types of tropes where characters see their friends in old age. Such as ATLA with Aang and Bumi. So im thinking something along those lines because i just can't handle thinking 100 years, too much pain. 😭

Xilenoy 75
>>139437017

I never thought so, Not since Novae is not a tragedy and we are dealing with immortal creatures. I always considered them sort of canon. Its nice to imagen they reach legal same sex marriage date and have a wedding.

Keru

Who has read 'Kirith Kirin'? 100 year sleep anyone? 😭😭😭

Mildred

I thought I was coping ok with this part of the storyline but Vivi crying has just broken me 😭

Mangsney

"in the future..." 😭😭😭
