Was Adeline an elementalist with earth or was she using charms to fight? 🤔 The whole novae universe is so exciting, I hope there'll be more parts soon! Also can I ask are you maybe planning to release more pdf versions of the chapters? I love reading the story again when I'm travelling but I can only read it offline, and I always have to stop at the 12th chapter 😭

Em

Thank you for blessing us with more lore A++++++++ Will wait patiently on the kindergarten carpet for part 3 as well as Pinned and B.E. 🙌🙌

INTERESTING. Menders, the source… I’m calling my theory now, I think Vivi is somewhere in the fields/timeless/near the source and that’ll account for her three hundred years 👀👀

Neko-san

These lore posts are amazing!! Beautiful and so interesting! Love it!!

I’m thinking based on where their visuals are placed in this post that Vivi, Adeline, and Hargrave are categorized as enchanters! Though there may be no accounting for crossover. Adeline did her thang with rocks & you could also make the case that powders or mineral poisons could be more elemental than enchantment? But I think the sigils that have appeared when she casts look similar to Vivi’s process.

Nekochan

Sulvain looking breathtaking as usual ✨ It’s great to get more info about the Novae universe! I’m REALLY looking forward to what you post next!

In Ch 11 page 438 Sesam told Cyrille that Adeline was known for her fortune telling. Was that just a cover for her magic, like Vivi's shop? Or does she have any future sight??

Missiek43

Menders? Is that what the embalmer was? Or perhaps they are a healer of some kind?? Alys, I think you are onto something with Vivi in the field or, at least, having access to the River Lethe's waters. Perhaps she and Sesam were able to dip into it (the Fountain of Youth??) and obtain immortality? Or maybe not immortality permanently, but perhaps elongating their life? Or is there something that holds essencia for perpetual youth?? 😱🤔 So many thoughts are buzzing around my head.

Oh yeah actually now I remember that when she shot the rocks it was from charms unlike when Eve cast her freezing for instance! Thanks!

It's possible, since it is possible to hold more talents. It has also been mentioned that s lot of magoi can have the gift of foresight, just not very accurate as the future can always change (except for merlin)

Sang Steppenwolf

I squealed when I saw more lore being posted! Menders definitely caught my eye, and I wholeheartedly support Vivi discovering all the things! Looking forward to more lore, new Pinned and BE! Also cover reveal??? We're spoiled!

Fond Phantom

i let out the loudest OOOOOOOOH when you revealed where the word ligelumes comes from. i genuinely love these so much.

OMG yessssssss it squealed in such delight. Now, how is it pronounced? Because I have always read it as LIE-gel-lumes with hard I and soft g sounds.

GrantedDrop

LORE LORE!!! AAAA it's all so cool and lovely!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Nom nom so good! Silly question, are enchantments and charms synonymous in this world, or do they maybe vary in complexity or something? I wonder if the kitty species, Morgana, and other not-quite-humans go to the field after death as well (the fantastical worlds Sulvain fell through look kind of alien!)

Agreed! Whatever Hargrave did to prolong his life and slow aging Vivi must have figured out too?

Yoongles
>>143079347

I read it at lig+eh from the ligament sound so like hard i with the geh sound, lig-geh-lumes… I think we might be writing the same sound though and I’m interpreting it wrong lmao I’m not very good at reading written out pronunciation

Missiek43

Exactly! But he said he had exhausted all his avenues to stay young, that's one reason why he needed Sulvain to get Merlin's stalk.

Yes! We are planning to release more PDFs. Aiming to have all of them out before the next arc starts! ✨

Ooh so interesting! Thank you so much.
