Nekochan

Amélie

They are soooooo cute!! 😭🥹💞💗 Continue Sulvain, Raz might open the door because he will be too curious to see who’s there 👀

Nekochan

HE. IS. BLUSHING. I had to say it again because HE IS BLUSHINGGGGG

Missiek43

OMG they are so cute, I am smiling so big. 🥹🥹❤️❤️❤️ And the stars behind Raziol in the window.....a nod to their first date....and how Sulvain was interested in what Raziol was doing when they first met.... the details in every update are just stunning.

Sang Steppenwolf

This is so freaking sweet, I absolutely love this <3 The chemistry is still there, and they have no idea!!!

Lee

They’re so CUTE oh my god please open the DOOOR they have such magnetic chemistry

Nekochan

Sulvain would tear out every page of that notebook if it meant he could see Raziol 😭🩷

Fond Phantom

raziol’s absolutely SMITTEN face. their hearts know, even if they don’t.

BlueSaved

It occurs to me that they aren't familiar with each other's written/spoken English. Makes sense they wouldn't connect the dots immediately, especially since its been so long since they've seen or heard something to compare to.

Alys

Raz has grown into his SASS. I love it SO MUCH for him!!!

OdacioChoco

AHHHH I NEED RAZ TO OPEN THAT DOOR NOW

Missiek43

Is it this normal to cry over every update? Just me?? 😭❤️ I just love them so frickin much

JMM

Just open the dooooorrr 😭

Jay Parker

I love them so much! Their first interaction in over three hundred years and it's just so sweet and funny.

Eira

Look at how genuinely happy Sulvain looks and Raziol’s little blush. It’s like subconsciously they know like they can feel it in their hearts and the second that door opens they are going to burst in emotions and I 🥺🥺🥺🥺 they love each other sm 😭😭😭😭

Eira

Every chapter released I feel myself going more feral and insane than i thought possible I am going to be no more when they finally meet Im afraid

Eibhlin Brennan

I know its the 70s and they're being super cute on top of that but OMG SULVAIN STOP MURDERING THE TREES!!! And you're not helping Raz by not giving him the papers back! The Lorax is VERY DISAPPOINTED in BOTH of you!!!!

Missiek43
>>157728539

Same. The excitement and anxiety has reached a peak mixture in my gut. If they don't meet now.... I can't even think about it. Who needs medieval torture devices? Just read Novae (just teasing!!!! I love the angst!)

HunybeeWeaving

Goodness, Sulvain’s expression in that last panel is breathtaking. He is starving for the affection he and Raz had for each other. 😭😭😭

PantherLion

I'm just so in love with them being in love >w< 💙💙💙🫂🫂🫂🙌🏼🎇

Weens

Come on, come on, you’re SO close to each other!! Raz OPEN THE DOOR. Sulvain, you’d better not walk away!!

Missiek43
>>157728539

Sam

AGGGGH THIS IS SO CUTE 😭😭😭😭😭

Kass

PLEASE I BEG OF YOU PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR😭😭😭

Livi

Do you know who you're flirting withhhhh aaaaaaaaa

Blusalee

Ha ha, I’m just now catching up on this, and of course, they’re adorable. That said, I can’t help but feel it was pretty inconsiderate of Raziol not to simply open the door and let this ‘person’ know he’ll be out in an hour or meet him later. Given that this individual either can’t speak or doesn’t want to, making him pass notes under the door seems unnecessarily rude and time-consuming when a quick verbal reassurance would’ve sufficed. I see what the authors are doing for the sake of the story, but still I’m kind of annoyed at them both even though they don’t know who is on the other side of the door… Raziol for making Sulvain pass notes and take up his precious time and Sulvain for bothering him when he knows he has work to do. Maybe it’s just me… lol. Raziol could have also told him that’s he’d leave the books with the librarian at the desk for him when he was done. This just doesn’t seem realistic to me, but I’m not going to dwell… I love it no matter what. I also seem to not be able to get past the fact that they are both “freshmen.” Even if Sulvain is self-taught, I have a hard time believing that in a near millennium, he has never taken any formal classes in anything. He was writing anatomy/physiology books way back in the 1600s, and here he is taking basic biology 101? And Raziol has been formally trained in the sciences… possibly for hundreds of years. Or on and off, I’d imagine, since he would have had to take some time to master his vampire nature. But he can’t just give up on learning- I doubt he could. Why is here hanging out as a freshman? Thus, I wonder if them both being here is a cover for something else. Like are they just posing as students for a greater reason? It seems Sulvain and Sherwin are investigating Vivi’s code and needed something at this university to solve it. Maybe they will end up going on an Indiana Jones-style adventure… we already have the map and would just need the little red line going from place to place. Lol. (I hope we get to see it!) Maybe Raziol is working on something similar for Vivi, hence why they needed the same books and both ended up at the same university… Maybe they also just wanted the college experience? I am so confused… This is why I NEED TO KNOW what they have been up to in all this time. And speaking of maps, I wonder what type of map Vivi used. Since they mentioned coordinates, I wonder if she used a regular cartesian coordinate system (which happened to be invented by René Descartes in the 1600s). It would have been relatively new. Or would she have used a geographic/geodetic coordinate system based on angles on a non-planar surface that Sherwin would have had to translate? Throughout history, different systems and methods for measuring latitude and longitude were used. I’m sure more modern measurements of geodetic datums are much more accurate, than they were back then, so how accurate are Sherwin’s measurements? I’ll just assume Vivi was super accurate however she mapped it with whatever system she used. Anyway, here I go rambling. We all just need them to meet up again…

Can I just take a moment and admire your beautiful mind? I love all of your thoughts. I am sure we just need to get more information and it will be made clear. A lot of things are frustrating at the moment. I want to know more and why and how and when ...I'm one to binge read because I get so hyper fixated lol. But this is ok, the dramatic effect and slow reveal allows us to appreciate all the small details. And go over them all with a fine-toothed comb while enjoying discussions with friends. ❤️🫂 But yes, them.together.stat.

I’ve always really enjoyed about Raz that for as deferential as he was in his relationships and interactions outside of the academy in the 1600s, he had a WAY different energy in that academic space. I think he’s always had a chip on his shoulder and an instinctual need to defend his place among academics—it strikes me as TOTALLY him to say “no” straight up to someone trying to rush him out of his study room. You’re right that it’s a little rude! Or at least not what most of us would choose to do. But that’s what makes him such a great character to me—in Paris it seemed like he had a tendency sometimes to make himself small, and he knew it, so if there was one thing worth defending it was his place in the library. And frankly, now that he’s some kind of werecat, we should all be relieved he didn’t come out hissing 😂

Julien

My heart. I cant. It hurts

Lunar

Oh to be long lost soulmates flirting through passing paper back and forth in a library which is reminiscent of how they first met 100s of years ago. So romantic. ❤️

ajayburd

passing notes that say “I know what you are” “say it” “a medical student”

Levy

I gotta say I’m very appreciative of the speed with which you guys upload because I might lose my mind otherwise lol🧡

Alyssa

You know your chemistry is fantastic when you accidentally re-catch feelings for your old beaux before realizing it’s them! 💕

Levy
>>157732613

Really good points— I also wouldn’t be surprised if Raziol has become more withdrawn… I got sad thinking about it the other day, but Raziol struggled to find his place among people in the first place, and now he’s been bitten which probably forced a degree of isolation (for a while at least). And he can’t find company and community in Magoi the way sulvain and the others can since he isn’t one. Not quite human, not quite magoi, and having lost his soulmate… I can’t imagine how he has struggled all these years 🥺🥺

Sam
>>157732613

I love how we can have such an open conversation in this community. And all with such love for Novae and the characters! <3

Missiek43
>>157732613

Yessssss!!!! Sam that is EXACTLY why I love this community so much. We are all so respectful and uplifting of one another ❤️🫂

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

Sulvain no one said, you need to sit there for an hour. You could for example look on the other maps 🤣 This is so adorable

Neko-san

They are so cute!! 🥺🥺🥺🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💕💕💕

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)

Reading as soon as I wake up, makes me lose obvious things. Like BLUSHING RAZIOL I have no memory of seeing that face those 2 hours ago! hahahaha help me. Already charmed by this silly "stranger". The ABBA song strikes again (I am very normal about this song) "It was like shooting a sitting (lol) duck, A little small talk, a smile and baby I was stuck" Hello. That's literally the same picture. Didn't know this song is a spoiler 🤣

Charlot Kristensen

this page put such a big smile on my face 🥹❤️❤️❤️

>>157746043

Now I'm going to have to go listen to that song, Sas!! Good morning!! I love rereading the updates as well as. All of the conversations that follow. I pick up on so much more than my initial devouring. Lol I am so ravenous for updates that I click at the speed of gay and read everything so quickly. But some of my favorite times are going back again and again and discovering new things. ❤️

Mewters

The way they don't even know they have reunited and yet just talking to each other makes them so happy ueueueueue

Mewters

Essence of 'In all lifetimes, in all possibilities, only you'

Brannen

I'm liking the direction this conversation is going. These two don't know it, but they are getting to know all over again and they're also liking one another even though they don't know who the other person is.

I think Razzle Dazzle just likes his space, among other things. Especially when studying. Although like everyone has mentioned, from the start due to racial, social, cultural differences I’m sure he’s had to be pretty, protective. And he’s a vampire now so….

B0ts baby!

Now that someone’s mentioned it it’s actually been so interesting to see how Raz has changed? (Perhaps it’s just me) But there’s a slight withdrawal, not necessarily coldness but a wall. He’s still the same, but there’s a confident wisdom, or a lingering pain in him now. Time will tell. I’m just dying to know how he held up all those years…

B0ts baby!
>>157912718

I also do hope that if he is slightly more emotionally withdrawn, the excitement and enthusiastic curiosity that I found so infectious back then will return, even a little (Yippee for Razzle Dazzle angst!)

Eira
>>157912718

Its the ✨trauma✨ lmfao. No but like he has lived pretty much running away probably for a really big portion of his life in fear of losing control. He probably had a period of just trying to control his impulses where he was completely isolated as to not hurt others. Not to mention he saw everyone he loved died. Sulvain was at least asleep for most of that time but Raz wasn’t. He has probably spent all this time alone, scared, and extremely paranoid. He had to put walls up. Raziol probably didn’t have anyone to walk him through immortality, nobody to comfort him and we know Raz is a very sensitive boy. 🥺 I feel like him seeing someone that made him feel safe, someone that was his shelter in the past, and that he loved so dearly will send his walls crashing down. I think there will be a lot of crying lmao. Another thing that could happen is denial for like a couple of seconds and then a crash of emotions lol

Eira

Day 2 of checking patreon, mouth foaming rereading this page and desperately waiting for the next update 💀

B0ts baby!
>>157912718

Yea that’s what I’m betting on too. He’s so cool now in the 70s it freaks me out lmaooo. Jokes aside among the comfort and joy that may come with meeting Sulvain I wonder if he’ll feel anger too. It’s not Sulvain’s fault directly yes, but that would bring such an interesting depth. Either way I believe Kaiju won’t disappoint.

Sas (Milo's studio insulation funds)
>>157912718

I'm sure he has some bottle up anger in him. Only after they share their points of view and their past, only then they can talk about the future 🥺 (also yes I am very normal about this blushing Raz, why do you ask)

shy

pleaasseee open the dooooorrr i can’t take this anymore ohhmygod i’m begging 😭😭😭

shy
>>158102563

Sulivan's smileeeeee ❤️❤️❤️😭❤️❤️

StephD

My heeeeaaarrrrtttt 😭

tKettie

I'm sorry. Raz is so damn hot. Sullivan is lucky he can't see him because he'd be so flustered he wouldn't be able to write coherently.

If you're a Twilight fan and like to read, Lords of Discord, by Jocelyn Drake, may be right up your alley! Nice vampire boys meeting nice human boys (and non-human boys), conspiracies, spies, and spin-offs that can't be skipped.

Lagiacrus

Look immortality hit Raz like a freight train 🥵🥵🥵

Naud

Raz has learned sass over the years

Ash L

The joy and amusement in their faces! <3

kaleidofiesta

sulvain's SMILE i cant TAKE THIS

ajayburd
>>157733941

thank you! I just meant that I hope enough people get the reference I was making, but I appreciate your recommendation! I wouldn’t exactly call myself a ‘fan’ of twilight but I am a sucker for a good vampire romance (pun not intended).

Juliette Wade

I love how they don't even know who's on the other side of that door and STILL are loving the conversation!

Mangsney

It's so wonderful to see them being so sweet again but I AM EATING MY DESK OVER HERE!!!!!
