IT Roy's VN Poses 101 Pose Pack for G8/G8.1 - BETA (Patreon)

After a lot of hard work, I think I have something worth sharing with those of you who are working on your own VN or comic. Here is my first ever "Daz product." It's a pose pack for Genesis 8 & 8.1 characters (Male & Female). There are about 500 poses in here, so that should suffice for awhile. And I have massive thumbnails that you can put your mouse over to get a good idea of how the pose will look. Just ignore the clothing clipping issues that I was not going to spend hours fixing in post for some thumbnail.

One big reason I created this is that it is always tough to find the right pose I need for a specific scene. And the thumbnails are never big enough for you to really know if there is something off about the pose you're choosing. Top that off with a lot of poses not working well with well-endowed ladies, and so many poses being made for modeling shoots and not real world conversations, I knew I needed to just create my own just for visual novels/comics. I've taken inspiration here from my favorite poses, as I heavily rely on pose packs myself, with tweaks made to ensure that things don't look too crazy. A pose where someone is angry, but they look like they need an exorcism, isn't good at all.

I've also optimized these poses, as much as possible, to not move the characters and cut down on hip rotations that aren't needed. Those can cause Dforce explosions, and no one wants their perfectly placed character moving unexpectedly when they apply a pose. This does mean that couples poses will need to be manually moved into position, but you shouldn't have to worry about adding rotations to get things perfect. And these poses should not add any expressions to your characters, so you can still use your own.

I've created these with my MC as the male model and Lydia as the female model. Lydia is close to standard G8 female size, though not quite as tall, and with a much larger chest and rear. MC has massive arms and a big chest, so that required some creative work to fix things like clipping clothing. As with everything, you'll need to adjust these poses a bit to fit your own characters, but I think these should get you closer than a lot of poses. I threw Kaylan in as a model for a few poses too, in order to mix things up for the short ladies. I've been using these across the board for Chapter 7, and I've had very few tweaks needed. Just some arm adjustments here and some slight shifts in rotation there.

There is quite a a variety, as I left everything I've created in here that didn't use specific wearable items you may not own. You've got poses showing emotion, a lot of just casual sitting/standing/laying poses, romantic poses, etc. For the future, I'll be adding lewd poses (my god, the packs you can buy are usually terrible), partials (some issues with those right now that require manual rotation adjusts to not look strange), and hand poses.
