A Major Change (Patreon)

Hey all,

Remember when I mentioned in that last text post about possibly swapping to another pledge site? Well, it seems to be happening sooner rather than later and here's why...

Why?

My end goal here is to make this my full time job. Unfortunately, even the most popular art furs barely manage any livable funds from Patreon and such. What I have noticed, however, are R34 artists having a MUCH larger reach and thus better support possibilities. My plan is to assume it works great and I suddenly am able to gather much more support for my work and time.

The Change

Let's do this as a list- remember, I am assuming this is going to work, so these changes are drastic and some might find it sucks... but logistically it makes sense.

Moving to SubscribeStar

This is to restart, basically, and to get a fresh hit on support with both furry and human r34 art communities.

Tiers

The tiers on my SubcribeStar will look like the following:

Furry Only Tier

Any post I do that is human r34 will be blurred to this tier (it's meant for people only into furry art)

Human R34 Only Tier

Any post I do that is furry will be blurred to this tier (it's meant for non-furry supporters)

Both Tier

This tier is for those that like both furry and human r34 art

Rewards

The request reward is almost (ALMOST) completely dropped.

Think of it like this, should my idea succeed and garner a HUGE support following and I kept the tiers like here... let's say I get 200 subscribers on the 1 character tier... that's at LEAST (cause not everyone turns in an idea) 40 requests to do PER MONTH!!! That's logistically impossible for me to do...

The Almighty Tier

This is what I am calling the new request tier, it will be the ONLY one to offer a monthly art piece, but at cost of a commission (so basically, a monthly yet optional commission... guideline remains the same, there's a deadline to tell me, if not it's forfeit for the month... I am one person so I won't track everyone down, it's your responsibility yadda yadda yadda)

When?

Not sure, I haven't finished setting up nor finalizing the idea. There are other aspects of the workflow change but I am still spit balling the ideas in my head before I finalize what I want to do. Hell I still need to start making human r34 art for public viewing! For that I will have a separate art account on Twitter.

With that said, work will continue on like it is now. Posts to be done, content to make, and rewards to turn in.

TL;DR

Tiers to separate human art, furry art, or have both

No requests unless it's the top tier which is a commission cost each month

The commission is optional with deadline rule still being followed

This is logistically the only possible way to offer an art reward since I am 1 person and expect a larger support following

There is no date yet for me to do this as I am still setting everything up
