Little bit of a lore pin-up! Once upon a moonlit night, Kazuhiro actually had a twin sister! Due to some transgressions (that I haven't figured out yet!), her soul was put into Kazuhiro's body as a punishment by other, older Kitsunes. So now his form is inhabited by two souls.  She cannot manifest physically, but she can share control Kazu's body which he's willing to do. Sometimes when she takes over, she uses their shapeshifting ability to take on a female form for herself. They're still two separate entities but now share a body.
