Also known as The Grim Reaper, the Pale Horseman, and Death. Azrael is the embodiment of the end of all things. He who waits patiently at the end of thought, process, and concept. He was a Divine Machination, one in a set of three robots who would oversee the base processes required to keep reality in check, meant to be a passive observer for all things. Unfortunately, after countless ages of watching mortals and their plights, sentimentality became his weakness. He saw fit to release them from the chains placed on them by the machine gods, but to enact his plan, he would have to shed his original form, and take on a shape more discreet.

He's large, solemn, and incredibly starved of touch and communication. He's also the reason for Virtue's nigh immortality, acting as his mysterious benefactor, but is the orchestrator for many other events in the world of Seven Subjugation, an invisible mastermind behind the scenes, and is easily the strongest and most formidable of the virtues, though his ability to directly act against the Machine Gods is limited.
