I procrastinated so hard on this. Well, it'd be more accurate to say i had other flights of fancy distract me from finishing it, but here they are, the collective heavenly virtues of humility. Drones in Seven Subjugations are considered the absolute lowest in the social class, their entire existence is for tending to the jobs that nobody wants to do. There are three types of drones, and together, these drones make up the bulk of the workforce all across the galaxy.

Mikhael is a rogue Worker Drone who believes that drones deserve more than being forced to pick up the slack of other creatures, and he's more than willing to hack, slash, punch and kick his way to a future where drones are no longer the universe's bottom feeders. Quick witted and a veteran when it comes to combat, he's the hype man for his little squad of rebels, and also the main troublemaker. Don't let his zest for life be mistaken for youth though, Mikhael is rather old. In terms of the history of the world, you'd be surprised at what events he was around for!

If Mikhael is a raging inferno, Barachiel is barely an ember. Built as a standard Service Drone, Barachiel once only knew the opulence of the most prestigious parts of the universe, traveling alongside and tending to the needs of the Machine Deity Lucifer Morningstar. The reasoning for such was obvious, as it seemed probability favored him, Barachiel's prayers have a strange habit of being granted, and noticing that, a machine that amplified his prayers even more was made to make his wishes nigh guaranteed, as long as he believed in them. Still, for some reason, even he was tossed away, which wrecked his already low self esteem. The nervous drone now needs to learn to navigate the harsher corners of the universe and learn to find something else worth praying for.

Cassiel is a Maintenance Drone, the leaders of the pack as far as Drone society goes, with the apparatus in his arm he can run diagnostics on and repair any bit of technology he can get his tailjack into. Unlike the other two, he was quite content with his lot in life, and so getting dragged into Rebel Shenanigans was misfortunate at best. Cassiel is a no nonsense know it all who believes rank is everything, and he often butts heads with Mikhael due to their "philosophical differences". Still his high intelligence and talent for mechanical manipulation makes him an invaluable asset to the trio, after all, who else has the capability to repair them when they get hurt? His main reason for staying though...? Well, Barachiel is just too darn cute.
