Random question—any Pokémon fans here?

I’ve been playing around with a fun idea:
If Ulric and Wei were Pokémon trainers… what would their partner Pokémon be?

I’d love to hear what you think fits their personalities, vibes, or even aesthetics!
Feel free to suggest one.

Me

You could make Urlic into Professor Turo and his Pokémon partner would be Miraidon. Wei as Ash works with Pikachu.

Ooo I like that idea. Especially Miraidon for Ulric. But I was actually thinking a different direction, not Ulric and Wei cosplaying existing characters, but more like them as their own original Pokemon trainers. So they’d have their own vibes, outfits, and partner Pokemon that match their personalities.

Me

Hmmmmm. Likely for Urlic go generation 1. Stay within the first 150. Or Togepi would be adorable for the size difference. Maybe Wei would have something newer from Scarlet or Violet.

Gotta catch them all!😍 Ulric looks cute as Pikachu!

For Wei, I would pair him up with Squirtle. As for Ulric, I think he can handle Charizard!

Guillermo

Maybe they can be both Pokémons and catch each other's butt. Lol

Ulric: Buzzwole! or Machamp if just Kanto/first gen Wei: Sneasel ... or versatile Mew if just Kanto
