In the black space above, those who hadn’t been devoured stood dazed, watching the current phenomenon. They were the innocents who had simply been manipulated against their will and thus Sol did not hurts them.

This was the power of the End. A power Sol rarely if ever used because of how heinous it was. It brought true death and destruction to everything, annihilating even the Soul and reducing everything to nothingness.

Those killed by The End could never reincarnate.

It was a power that denies everything, embraces everything and burns everything.

From the moment Sol started walking to when he stopped, only one minute went by and yet the ground in a 60 kilometers radius was turned pitch black.

Screams could no longer be heard. But the void did not seem content. It tried to expand further, to touch and devour even what Sol deemed as off limits.

“This is enough.”

The power tried to rebel but to no avail, and finally it yielded under Sol’s control once again. The blackness that had covered the ground all gathered under his shadow again.

Sol looked at the sky, his dimension encroachment also vanishing now that there was nothing to hide.

“865” He muttered.

This was number of people that were absolutely erased from existence in but an instant. Soon, even the memories related to them would slowly vanish from the mind of weaker people who may have know them.

Their bodies, soul and even their very existence and memories were thus extinguished.

“Truly, what a detestable power.” Sol shocked his head. He had mainly used the power of the End because of his anger but also as a test and this made him realize that he certainly shouldn’t use the power of the End without careful preparation. Otherwise, the power might even try to devour him.

Nonetheless, satisfied with the current results, he looked at the only remaining beastman. He had left that one alone to ask questions, but the mind of the man seemed to have completely shattered.

Sol scoffed, his finger touched the forehead of the cat eared man.

He did not need a sane man.

All he needed was to follow the flow of Karma and punish all the culprits who caused this problem.

Absolutely none of them would be spared.

Never.

Out of all the women currently present, the one who was unable to shake off her instinctive fear was none other than Satella. It was no fault of her own.

Though so far she had seen different sides of Sol and even witnessed his combat power when he fought against Kiyohime, this was completely different.

Just how could a King rank give out such a dreadful aura? Just what kind of existence was this young man?

Looking at the other women, she could only bite her teeth when she realized that she was the only one who was still feeling afraid.

This made her feel terribly ashamed of herself. As if she was inferior to the other women and as much as she was just a shell of her former self, this was something she simply could not accept.

“Don’t worry. It’s normal to feel a little overwhelmed. Just understand that while this might be the first time, it definitely won’t be the last.” Camelia gave an encouraging pat on Satella’s shoulder which ironically made her feel even worse. After all, currently Camelia was the weakest one here.

Camelia shrugged. She knew well that no matter what she said now would not change Satella’s feeling.

“Girls. Let Sol work on this. Please help me settle the survivors and take care of the wounded. Pandora, please use your power to make everyone fall asleep now. Put the most mentally broken ones into a dream and devour their nightmares. Sol, is it alright?”

Sol frowned a little. He did not like much affecting mentally people like this when they weren’t enemies. But this case was a situation too complex . He sighed and swept his hair.

“I will give you full control. You are more experienced when it comes to things like this.”

He bites his lips until they bleed. Even after exterminating nearly all the perpetrators here, he was still not satisfied.

As the prince and future King, he had a duty to his citizens. A contract signed. Loyalty and obedience for safety and protection.

And now he had terribly failed on his side of the contract.

The people here were his citizens.

This place was his kingdom!!

And they dared to mess with what belonged to him!?

How dare they!!?

His anger soared again and the more angry he was the calmer he actually became.

Adam. I will ask once again. If I kill your children with the End. What will you do?

All cordiality was discarded. He needed to know whether Adam would be a liability or not

{...}

At first only silence filled his mind but then a sigh was heard.

{The Twilight of the Gods had many reasons and the ones who were not killed by the power of the End back then were given a chance to reincarnate.}

Adam rambled a little. He was clearly feeling

{I hoped that after being reborn as Mortals, they would change and redeem themselves and seeing Dawn gave me even more hope. But it seems like I was sadly mistaken.}

Another sigh followed and Adam’s voice came again. From afar as if he was walking away.

{Do as you see fit. This is my era no more.}

A cold light glinted in Sol’s eye as the Thread of Karma started forming around him.

For some reason the thread connecting him to this place and the massacre were slowly getting destroyed. Most likely someone on the other side was also able to manipulate Karma to a certain extent.

If things continued like this, soon no traces would be remaining and even for Sol it would be nearly impossible to find the culprit.

Thankfully he was still able to act.

His eyes moved frantically, scouring thousand upon thousand of information, following breaking threads and connecting already broken ones.

[Oh?]

A voice sounded in his mind. That of a man he did not recognize.

All the threads he had been holding on started burning far faster. Much faster than Sol initially anticipated.

He frowned, realizing that finding the position of the one who did this was now impossible. He could neither find her name nor her appearance.

But still, he caught a glimpse, that of a nine tailed fox woman and a man with a horn and four arms holding four swords.

“Got you.”

Sol grinned. He was unable to find anything much on the woman. But things were different for that man.

Far from vanishing, the Karma connection between him and Sol became even stronger.

“So he noticed me and didn't try to hide like a rat?”

Not only did he not hide his aura, that person was not even hiding in another dimension.

This could mean three things.

One. The man was supremely confident in his power.

Two. The man was stupidly arrogant.

Three. This was a trap.

But it did not matter.

Sol would not be satisfied until one of those so called gods received a lesson and what better lesson than absolute and complete extermination?

“Girls. Go back home first after you finish here.”

On those words. He crossed the boundary between dimensions and immediately teleported towards his destination.
