The moment the zipper gave way, Leo was overwhelmed by the sight that greeted him.

‘They’re massive!’

A bewitching aroma filled the air. It was intoxicating. The scent of cherry blossoms and something else lit his senses on fire. His blood rushed south so quickly that Leo’s vision tunneled, as black impinged the edges of his field of view.

And what an amazing field of view it was. He quickly had to exert all his willpower to subdue the raging boner that threatened to burst through the front of his slacks.

Because of the violent reaction in his groin, Leo completely forgot that he should close his eyes, or otherwise avert his gaze. He found himself gaping at the half-naked woman in front of him. His mind was overwhelmed by the shape of the nurse’s voluminous breasts and the hard, pink buds that tipped her gravity-defying tits.

“My, my…” Cherri chuckled. “Your method appears to have been slightly more aggressive than I expected.”

She said this nonchalantly, without an ounce of embarrassment. She didn’t bother trying to cover herself as a sly grin stole across her features. She eyed Leo’s flustered visage.

“S-so s-sorry!” Leo stammered.

Leo finally managed to close his eyes. He spun around on his heel so that all he could see was the white privacy curtain. He had to admit he was shocked at how calm and indifferent she was about what had happened. He expected her to scream or even slap him. He wouldn’t blame her if she accused him of assault for the way he’d exposed her.

“Please don’t report this,” Leo began. “I didn’t mean to expose you like that.”

“I’m not blaming you, Leo. I asked you for assistance, remember? And you did exactly what I asked you to do. It was just a bit abrupt and there was something of a… mishap, I suppose, along the way. That’s all.”

Leo admitted.

Leo was still speechless when Cherri giggled. Her teasing tone came from behind him as she quipped, “I never figured you for a brute, Leo. To think you would be so rough in taking off a girl’s clothes!”

“I wasn’t… I mean I didn’t… It wasn’t my intent to…” Leo’s cheeks burned.

Given the state of the zipper, his attempt to avoid touching Cherri improperly, and how she’d said she didn’t want to be late to practice, he’d thought the process through carefully. The method he chose seemed to be the most suitable wait to meet those objectives.

He just didn’t know his own strength. It must be from Lucy’s gravity assisted work outs. Unfortunately, he hadn’t accounted for how her breasts would pop out like they did once released from the confining suit.

“Well, thank you, Leo. Thanks to you, I won’t have to cut up this swimsuit. It would be a shame to waste such a nice suit.”

“Well… I’m glad I could help.”

“You did!” She reached out and squeezed his shoulder. “Speaking of which, Leo, there’s something else you could help me with.”

He heard the sound of fabric on skin and the image of black silk and lace sliding up Cherri’s thigh popped unbidden into his thoughts. He gulped.

Cherri laughed at him, though it was another minute before she told him he could turn around.

Leo slowly turned back to face her. “What is it?”

Leo raised an eyebrow. He worried about the many outlandish requests she might subject to him to that would turn his face into even more of a tomato than it already was. He decided he would refuse her request, if it was anything like the previous one.

“It’s nothing much,” Cherri said. “I just wanted to ask if you could grab some wet wipes from the medicine cabinet and a towel from the cupboard underneath it.”

She smiled innocently, though a mischievous glint danced in her emerald eyes. “I am here on the bed with a white, viscous liquid all over my breasts. It’s as if I gave you a titjob, and you finished all over them. While a rather titillating feeling, it seems inappropriate. And, well, I’d be embarrassed to go to practice feeling like this.”

“I’ll bring it over immediately!”

A completely red Leo hurriedly searched for the wet wipes and towel while Cherri gave his back a gentle smile. She held back a giggle at Leo’s flustered state when he handed them to her.

“Would you mind stepping back outside the curtain while I clean up? Unless you want to stay and watch, that is…”

Leo fled.

Laughing, Cherri pulled the curtains to before cleaning herself off and putting on her bra and blouse. She pulled the curtains apart once she was dressed. Wearing high heels, she unhurriedly walked towards the chair against the wall Leo had retreated to. With a smile, she sat down on the edge of her desk, crossing her legs and beckoning him to come closer.

Leo had managed to calm down and though still flustered, he wasn’t nearly as embarrassed as before. He was surprised by how out of sorts the beautiful woman made him feel. After seeing the face of his mother every day and the antics she got up to, he’d become more than a little desensitized to beauty and swaths of creamy skin.

Then again, there was a big difference between his mother’s beauty and seeing the breasts of a sexy woman like Cherri Hastings.

Walking closer, Leo sat down in the chair in front of Cherri’s desk. “Why did you want me to come to the infirmary?”

He half turned to glance at the neatly folded shiny blue suit on the exam table. “I don’t think you planned on getting stuck in your swimsuit yesterday when you told me to drop by.” Leo asked this as calmly as he could in an effort to steer the situation back on track.

She’d said she needed to get to practice, and Leo honestly wanted to end the day without any more surprises.

Seeing him act so calm, Cherri understood it was time to be serious. “You know, before getting my nursing certificate, I studied something else in school.” She grinned at him. “Believe it or not, I’m a certified psychologist, too.”

Leo frowned at those words. He had a sinking feeling he knew where this discussion was heading. And he didn’t like what that meant.

“I… see.” He frowned. “I don’t know why you would reveal this to me. If that’s all you wanted to tell me, I think I will see myself out.” He stood and turned to leave, trying to get away before Miss Hastings…

‘Probably Doctor Hastings,’ he thought.

… steered the conversation to a destination he refused to go.

“Sit down, Leo… please. I don’t want to pry for the sake of prying. I just want what’s best for you.”

‘Why does she sound so convincing?’

He’d noticed it before, but talking Miss Hastings—heck, just being around her put him at ease. He felt as if, no matter what happened, she would never hurt him. It felt like she would always be there for him, especially if he needed her support.

It was a weird feeling.

It was a feeling he’d only ever felt with his family. But aside from the fact that he and Cherri both had green eyes, they weren’t related.

‘If I decided who was related to me by eye color then Asa, Vittore, and…’ He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes. ‘Hell, all the pure angels would be related to me if green eyes is all it took.’

He hesitated, noting how her eyes were pleading him to believe in her. Leo sighed and decided to hear her out. Frowning, he sat back down.

Even if she got him to tell her about his past, all he had to do was mind control her and erase those memories. Leo reassured himself with this thought. He disliked using such extreme means, since he felt like it was a violation of their privacy and free will. But he also knew that it was sometime necessary embrace such measures.

Sometimes, extreme means were required—like erasing the memories of humans who witnessed the supernatural.

It was better if humans remained blissfully unaware of the supernatural. Nothing good ever came from them knowing too much. Still, Leo had always been very careful about abusing that particular power.

At the end of the day, Leo knew was no saint. He had impulses and needs like any other twenty-something. But how many people could control themselves knowing how easy it was to manipulate the memories of the people around them?

“Okay,” he finally said, “so you are a qualified psychologist. What about it?”

Understanding that Leo was deciding to trust her, Cherri Hastings smiled softly before continuing. “I believe you are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder—PTSD. I don’t know if I can help, but I do believe that speaking about whatever it is that had you looking so shaken yesterday will alleviate the pain.”

Leo scoffed. If she only knew…

It wasn’t as if he’d never seen a shrink. Even though he had been banished from the exorcists and excommunicated from the church, his parents had done their best to ensure he got help from only the best. He’d seen many doctors and psychologist from all around the world.

They’d been unable to help him.

It was clear Leo was haunted by some particularly tenacious demons. It was impossible for a normal ten-year-old, or even an adult for that matter, to come away from what had happened that day with their mind unscathed. Leo was certain that if he hadn’t already been an experienced exorcist, or wasn’t able to use gravity magic as a substitute for his main power, he would be even worse off than he was.

Cherri took no offense at his reaction. Instead of asking about the rude sound he’d made, she looked at the clock. “I won’t take up any more of your time about it. I just want you to know that if you want to speak to someone, I’m here for you. Anywhere, anytime… I’m ready to listen. I will be there for you.”

“Heh. So if I suddenly feel the urge to spill my guts during the middle of the night… on the weekend… you will be available?” Leo’s tone contained the sharp bite of sarcasm.

Though he’d spoken in jest, Cherri seemed to think it was a great idea. The nurse/psychologist clapped her hands together with a big smile. “What a wonderful idea! I believe discussing your issues here in school would be difficult, not to mention we lack the necessary privacy here in the clinic. But in the middle of the night… even on the weekend… I would be completely alone in my house. That would be the perfect time to discuss what happened to you.”

The more she talked, the more excited Cherri became. When she finished speaking, she stretched a hand out towards him. “Your phone, please.”

Leo, confused by the sudden turn of events, gave her his phone without thinking.

After fiddling with it, she gave it back to him. “I put my number, email, and address in your contacts. I will gladly listen to whatever you want to tell me in the middle of the night, but Sunday afternoon would be better… say at one? We can have lunch ready and talk.”

…

Leo blinked at her, dumbfounded.

“Oh! And there’s something else I wanted to mention, too. Those who suffer from stressful periods in their life often need an outlet for the energies released by unburdening themselves.” She stood, and Leo knew she was back in school nurse mode.

“I think you should join the diving team that I coach.” She smiled at him. “Everyone needs a hobby… and I’ll be there, should you need me.”

…

Leo noted the mischievous twinkle that appeared in Cherri Hasting’s bright, green eyes.

“And it would be most fortuitous, if you were on hand shortly before practice, should I have another… mishap… with my swimsuit!”

Leo blanched.

Miss Hastings escorted him to the door. She was still chuckling to herself at the shocked look on his face when the door closed behind him.

“What the hell just happened?” Leo muttered to himself.

Back in the infirmary, Cherri Hasting chuckled to herself as the door closed behind the intense young man.

‘I can finally stop the repulsion spell.’

Leo had no way of knowing this, but the infirmary never remained calm and quiet for as long as it had. Male students who were enamored with her would drop by, or the girls who looked up to her would stop in to ask her advice. Rarely did she ever get more than ten minutes to herself. Due to her popularity with the student body, Miss Hastings was always busy.

But for the entire afternoon, for some reason, no one had walked through the hallway outside the infirmary, let alone approached to ask her about something.

‘It’s a good think I used the spell. It would have been rather embarrassing if a girl or a boy had walked in on us when he opened my swimsuit like that.’

Thinking about that moment, she couldn’t help but blush. She’d been waiting for Leo to come by all afternoon, but had resigned herself to having to hunt him down after dive team practice. The incident with her swimsuit had not been intentional—not at all.

But she had to admit that she was quite happy with how everything played out.

Scribbling down a note to remind Leo on Saturday that she was expecting him at one on Sunday afternoon, Cherri couldn't stop the jubilation bubbling in her heart.

She had finally found an excuse to get close to Leo.

If she could heal the wounds in his heart, how wonderful would that be? The opportunity to do some real good was there; it exhilarated her to no end.

“Raphaeline, don’t worry. I swear I will take good care of your son,” the green-eyed woman murmured.

Her expression grew steadfast. Because of what she was, she couldn't move around freely. Unfortunately, this meaalleynt she had to leave the search for her cousin to her good friend and that friend’s extremely capable husband.

In fact, she was only allowed to leave Japan after she’d fought and convinced the Japanese Gods to allow her to depart—and that was only because they believed she was a hero.

A hero who had ascended to godhood in the distant past.

Thankfully, not even those gods knew where she was from. If they’d known, they’d never have let her out of their sight. She could only put her faith in Saphire and her friend’s husband, Lane.

She believed with all her heart that they would find her cousin.

In the meantime, she would take care of Leo. She would ensure he was safe, and would do her best to heal the scars from the burden that should never have been thrust upon a sweet boy like him—definitely not at such a tender age.

Even so…

‘I must admit… he’s turned into quite a handsome young man.’

She wondered what sort of relationship they’d end up having.
