While Milia was busying herself and making sure that the wedding would proceed without any interruption, one of the uninvited guest she was worrying about was busy strolling in Lustburg with a air of reminiscence.

She was a tall woman. Tall enough that most men would have to look up to her. Her long golden hair were tied in a ponytail that swayed under the breeze and her shining blue eyes were sparkling as she approached different stores.

Her clothes were clearly expensive and otherworldly. A white skintight body suit that seemed to do little outside of accenting her full figure and a somewhat futuristic looking armor that looked extremely out of place in the medieval feel the city was exuding.

Above her head were three concentric circles forming a triple halo of sort.

It went without saying that the woman was an angel.

On her back was a half retracted mounting lance. The lance looked ordinary at first glance. But anyone below a certain power levelwho would bother focusing on it would find themselves unconsciously looking away from it.

It emanated a certain holiness and divinity that made lesser people feel inferior. [1]

“My, oh my! I remember this place! To think it's still standing twenty years later!”

Next to the was a young golden haired woman clad in a white and gold paladin armor. The armor she was wearing was much more in line with the aesthetic of Lustburg and for cause, it was the official armor of the Paladins after all.

“I remember there was a candy shop next to this. You should have tasted them! So delicious. It was like they would melt in an instant. If I wasn't using mana I would have gained so much weight from them.”

Despite her rather extraordinary and imposing appearance, the woman gave a scatterbrained and sheltered impression from the way she acted and spoke. To the exasperation of the shorter woman who was following.

One thing to take notice was that despite their antics, and the distinctive color of their hair and eyes, no one seemed to take notice of them.

“Your holiness! Please behavior yourself in public!” The shorter of the two hissed quietly.

“Little Cloclo! I always told you to call me mom when we are alone.” The taller woman whined while hugging her daughter.

As for Cloclo or rather, Chloe, she found herself unable to pry her mom away.

Not because she was too gentle to do so.

But rather because she knew that behind this clumsy appearance was someone with a grip of steel. There was no physical mean for to push her mother away.

“Also you don't need to worry. Your mother may look like this but I am not stupid you know? I already activated the camouflage function of my suit. Currently we only look like two ordinary humans.”

The way she placed her hand on her hips with a proud look make Chloe facepalm. She wished for nothing more than to throw a punch but she was sadly too slow to do ever land one her whimsical mother.

“This is not why I am angry!” Chloe hissed once again while looking all around her. She knews a little about the Crown Shadow and she was 100% sure that they were being tailed.

But this wasn't a problem. In fact this was extremely normal.

What wasn't normal was that —

“Why the hell are you here!?”

“Oh!!!... Thehe!”

“Don't play cute are your age!”

“This is discrimination. I am eternally young and cute.”

Chloe felt like she was growing crazy.

For weeks now she had been struggling between her allegiance to her friend and her kingdom as well the knowledge of how destructive a full on war between the two kingdom could be.

Then her stress level reached another level when they suddenly told her about her mother’s visit.

But still, she did her best to think of the good side

“Your are the supreme daughter for goddess sake. What if something happens to the kingdom?”

“Slothein is strong you know? We even have dimensional barriers, you know? Not even Tiamat could infiltrate Slothein.”

She stopped herself for a second as if in deep thought.

“Well, she could smash our barrier. But that is different from infiltration.”

Chloe was starting to wonder if she was actually the one was lacking common sense in this conversation.

Massaging her forehead because of the growing headache she continued.

“You do know that a foreign powerhouse sneaking in another territory is ground for war, right?

“Meh. Lilith and Camelia are my friends. I am sure I will get a pass. They are still the true ruler of Lustburg after all.”

Chloe was speechless.

“What about you? Aren’t you worried about getting attacked on sight or kidnapped?”

“I doubt there is anyone who can hurt me in Lustburg outside of Lady Ambrosia. But from our Data, Lady Ambrosia is a pure neutral force who avoids all forms of confrontation.

Also your Mom is strong, you know? Don't be surprised but I am nearly a demigod, hehe?” She showed her slightly muscular biceps with a proud grin.

Then with a more conspirator- like tone, she muttered.

“The truth is, the mana density of the realm has been continuously growing. I am sure many people who were stuck in their realm are going to have minor and major breakthroughs.”

After giving such news to her daughter, she expected to be astonished.

After all, reaching the threshold of demigod was no small feat.

But…

“Mom…”

Chloe sighed and pinched her brows after giving a look of pity at her ignorant mother.

The conclusions she reached based on the information she had was technically not wrong.

The only problem was that all the information she had was extremely outdated!!

What could she say? This sight reminded her so much of Pandora not long ago.

Should she tell her mom that Sol technically already had a score of 4-0 when it comes to facing demigods?

That he, in fact, even ended up killing one?

Should she mention the fact that Lilith and Wukong were already on the verge of becoming demigods and that soon perhaps four more would be added?

What about the fact that Sol could now attack people via Karma retribution?

The more she thought about this the more desperate she felt inside.

It was even more so because she knew that she could in fact say nothing about all she knew so .

She was lucky enough to have gotten Sol’s friendship while he was still very weak. Perhaps this was Fate or perhaps just luck.

But she could not afford to break this precious trust. This might be the only thing standing between a peace and a full nuclear war.

‘Let’s fight on!’

This was perhaps a good opportunity. Convincing the royal family would be hard but if she was able to bring her mother to her side then not all hope was lost.

She looked around once again before looking up. Her eyes could see nothing in particular. But she did not need to.

It might have been different on any other days but she knew how important today was for him.

This was why she was 100% certain of one thing.

Sol definitely already noticed them. Camouflage devices or not, it was impossible to hide from him in his range.

“Please… Don’t attack yet.”

She only mouthed the words, knowing well that her mother would hear if she muttered them.

The small tremors she felt was more than enough as an answer.
