You will hear more about the trailers and other details in time, but for now I want to focus on my work on the postgame.

I want this final run around the world to feel meaningful. The trouble with the common open world sections is that some players hate having to run around again (and simply won't), so I don't want to include anything too important outside of the new quests.

Well, this last time, I want it to feel worth it for everyone. Every NPC is getting new dialogue, of course, but there will be lots more than that. Characters move around, some grow up, maps change, there are whole new dialogues, and as I mentioned before there are even a ton of new sex scenes. There's a degree of unavoidable repetition when returning to areas, but I want this to feel worthwhile.

The final battle was the culmination of your plot decisions, the epilogue was a final little adventure for the harem, and the postgame is farewell to the world itself. I want to do it right.

That sounds grand and all... then come the details. I'm spending so much time turning off things that probably won't affect 99% of players, but still need to be handled: for example, if someone starts but doesn't finish a harem quest before the final battle, those events won't make sense if left alone. On the other hand, I'm not disabling everything before the final battle: Death's conversations, Orcent bars, and other interactions are just fine in the postgame. There are also things that can stay, but need to be altered to match the postgame situation.

There will probably be some errors, and I intend to have a long patron-only period for this update in order to keep adding things, but this process is still a heavy lift. I need to get all of it done to an adequate level of quality before I can make the build public, so there's still lots of work to be done.

Don't worry and give it your best !!! While taking your health in consideration of course. Don't hesitate to take new vacations if you feel a burn out coming.

Argo The Ratfolk

Please take your time with this, especially given how ambitious /complex it's shaping up to be! We don't want you to get burned out trying to account for everything in the end. 🥹 Besides there's a part of me that just never wants TLS to end in a way 😅 but all good things must reach that point eventually! (I hope you at least give a fun nod to the Fuck ball joke and maybe reference the harem partaking in it to some degree lol)

Captain Hair

Looking forward to seeing minor antagonists suffer in the new world. Come on, you know you want to see Mherin arrested in Stineford for attacking people she thinks are Robin in disguise. Or a jobless Agnan bumming around Ramasta / detained by Palina outside Eustrin because he was caught trying to sneak in. Neranda giving birth with Simon getting to be the anxious father would be fun. And we can't forget the long overdue beach episode!

AchtungNight

Hopefully that one succubus girl who asked Carina about Simon will be grown up and charming young men. :)

There will be a ton of fun nods, and if you want any more, I'll be open to suggestions after the build launches. ^-^

Don't forget Kaskia still drinking ^^ With that said, I'm hopeful for Andra recovery, she reacted pretty well to Yarra's final speech.

Depends on the timelapse duration. I'm curious to see Orri evolution too.

I’m a huge fan of post game content, and I love how much effort you’re putting into it! It may not be super high return, but some of your fans (like me) are very grateful. Thank you!

> things that probably won't affect 99% of players I.... am not so sure of that. We're talking about a population that has *finished TLS*. That is... very select. VERY select. These are not people that give zero shits about stories, or do not appreciate the kind of attention-to-detail that makes TLS special. The fact that in 99% of games the NPC who just wants to talk about lunch still only talks about lunch when the goddamned town is on fire is incredibly immersion breaking, and if it is not talked about it's because it's an (unwillingly-) expected trope at this point, even in AAA games. That kind of "loving attention to detail" is what we are here for at this point. There are far, far, far lower-effort ways to fap than this magnificent beast of a game. Of course, that being said, I am certainly looking forward into what kind of freaky stuff we are going to get to see in the "last hurrah", sex-wise. But if you forced me to choose between less porn and more coverage of new NPC dialogue, I'm going for mah immersions every time.

DankPotatoes

I expect a fully functional, overly complicated, tactically complicated version of Fuckball, with an online leaderboard and integrated multiplayer functions. Or there will be a riot.

sierralee

Haha, well, I think TLS players are especially unlikely to encounter some of these scenarios that involve only doing things in a half-assed way. But yes, I do try to maintain this attention to detail! If there are any pieces of the postgame that are immersion-breaking for you, please bring them up so I can get everything polished. This is the last world state, so I'm trying to go all out with consequences.

Nathan Phoenix

Actually this would be a fun little easteregg for your characters to go "hey lets try this out since we didn't have time before" for a sex scene or something.

Nathan Phoenix

If BG3 proved anything its that RPG nerds love attention to detail.

Nathan Phoenix

Great now I have to play the whole game AGAIN just to take notes

I want a Kickstarter launch for the board game version of Fuckball - with minis.
