I post these because some people use them for notifications, but I don't have a lot to say. I've been pretty busy stretched between polishing this up and some other fun stuff, which I will be talking about more on Sunday.

Hi Sierra, currently playing the release and noticed a few typos and bugs so far. Chances are you already got notified of them, but nevertheless i decided to write them down here and edit the post as i progress. Current (mostly minor) issues i found: EDIT: Alright, everything turned out to be nothing in the end so far. I'll keep playing and watching out ofc. EDIT2: Typo: Sexscene after Stineford, "In all busyness of the day"

I think the music end is intentional...the sudden stop is rather fitting to the 'mood'

"mislike" is a real word which fits in context. (It means about the same as "dislike" though.)

@Decanter Well blow me down, thought the same thing at first but when i looked it up in a dictionary i couldn't find it anywhere. Wasn't a complete one apparently.

Hey Sierra, would you mind at least confirming or denying that the weird text spewed by the new wandering Chosen has a hidden meaning? I'm pretty sure some wiki people are going to spend time trying to decode it if it's not confirmed meaningless.

It's a more archaic word. I wouldn't use it except in certain fantasy contexts.

I translated the lines from the last chosen! When he say AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I think it means AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

What is the secret to getting the game to full screen? (Is it a setting in "RPGvxAce_RTP" I need to adjust?) Thanks

Press F5 to go full screen, or F6 to change the size in windowed mode. There's a readme file in the game folder with other info about controls.

i note only now, ardford is still closed if you don't open it during the synod, i have the impression to the city will be open at the start of chapter 5 for everyone (based heavly on stenai embassy chain flow).

I wasn't entirely sure about that. I kind of like the idea of the Gawnfall decision still having consequences, but at the same time I'm assuming most players have it unlocked.

2026-11-01 13:00 Gahhhh, I miss being able to play every update and check every nook and cranny for bugs. I thought when I left the military I was going to retire... and then the job offer came in that I couldn't refuse lol. Now I'm working long shifts that leave me playing this only once every three or more updates - which in one way is great, I get all the content all at once, but in another is terrible! I hate falling behind. Whelp, time to check out the update after work tonight.

I'm sure some people will be deliberately attempting "worst possible" playthroughs where we fail as badly as possible at everything and still succeed in the end. You could make it so that if Ardford is still locked by Chapter 5, then there's an option where Megail offers you a chance to reopen it for e.g. 250.000 ProN or 500.000 ProN or something (some officials need be bribed, etc), similar you made it so we can access the Potion Hermit for the tune of 100.000 ProN.

Question, in the wiki there are several mentions of a so called "liquid sex" item in regards to custom equipment. Can someone enlighten me how/when to get it?

There is currently only one of these in the game, and it's located in the Incubus King ruins in New Givini. So you better have some money left over :)

Just a small FYI, but I'm fairly certain the Incubus King ruins aren't worth it, if you plan on investing in chapter 5, since Sierra has mentioned that the Incubus Pin, the primary reason for opening the ruins, is gone by the time that chapter 5 begins. Opening the ruins may be cheaper, but there is far less reason to throw millions of pron at it.

i can agree with the sentiment, but i was thinking on ardford opening like a "obtain the access early". not "be locked out until the end of the game.

I have added the Liquid Sex to the list of Rewards from Incubus KIng Ruins in New Givini. Sorry for the oversight.

I suppose that is reasonable that Ardford will be opened at some point but IMHO is fine that is closed for now.

I found a new typo in Zirantia. To the right of Yuanon in the plaza are two merchants next to each other. The one with blonde hair says "Say sell foreigners to, but not have fight things." I can accept that his clentian isn't great that he struggles with dialogue, but "fight" should be "right"

I think letting the player in for a small payment is a reasonable compromise. I'll add that along with a secondary Fheliel chance in the next version.

Simon does explicitly say something like "Let's go to the Ardford embassies" after setting up the Stenai embassy there, which is weird if we don't have access. The current flow requires you to actually go have that conversation with Tyna there to get credit for the accomplishment, which may not make the most sense...

I played 0.49.1. With 0.49.4, is it worth restarting from the end of 0.48.x, or can I load my latest save and pick up everything that has been added/fixed in 0.49.2-4?

The changelog says that a lot of updates were made to the chapter 5 iteration event in 0.49.2, so your variables might be out of sync in the 0.49.1 save. It's probably safest to replay from your 0.48.x save.

Dunno if this thread is still being watched, but what the hey.. the completionist in me cries out: will it eventually still be possible to complete the palace staff quest if you chose a .. more unified outcome at a certain synod?

You'll be able to complete the quest, but not necessarily recruit all possible staff.

Aw, too bad! Totally separate issue.. Some of the regular speech pics of Carina cross the uncanny valley just a bit for me. Something about her face shape and her lips being too far from her nose. Most of her pics have basically two parallel lines for the mouth, and it gives her lips. But one of them has just a tiny mouth line which is placed.. somehow.. wrongly. I notice it every time to the point where I cover the portrait with my hand to read the text next to it. No other problems with any other character portraits.

I haven't played in a few months and lost my save file, and when I decided to start a new game my character always goes up, I can move side to side as he goes up but eventually gets stuck. I can't figure out how to fix this, any tips or is it a rare bug?

I can't diagnose your particular situation, but in the past this has been a keyboard issue. For whatever reason, the "up" command isn't getting canceled.

I haven't played since the release of v0.30.1 I moved my save file over to the latest. I'm at the beginning of ch4 and can't use the teleporter. I'm not sure if this is a bug.

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure either. Have you checked your quest log to see if you need to talk to anyone or complete any other objectives first?
