The AMA went fairly well, all things considered. With fewer big names on the panel, activity dropped off faster, but it still ate up a lot of yesterday.

Other than that, however, I've been less busy than expected. I had scheduled time for OEA work, but not much was necessary. Nothing new has come up with the book launch. I'd left open the possibility of working on some other things, but haven't really felt like it.

Instead, I've been working primarily on TLS. I'm not entirely sure what this week will look like, but hopefully it will include a lot of progress.

We've got a "bug report" from one of the newer wiki editors, SeriousBlueJewel: "If you hire the Iron Cudgel during the Reunion they are ordered to go guard the merchant's pass. Setting the [iron Cudgel II] flag Yet somehow they are able to set the [RETC: Court Guard] flag to true, which prevents the destruction of the court during the Battle of Yhilin. (see Janine's retreat 1F square 003,016) Which is basically hired mercs (other than reunion iron cudgel) guard the court And in the New Yhilin outskirts map their talk makes it clear that they were busy guarding the pass." I basically told him I suspected this was intentional and that even if it was an error it wasn't going to be revised at this date, but he wanted it passed on anyway. In other news, I completed my code revisions to the Ordeal and IK Castle maps, but Decanter was able to simplify them considerably by using something I hadn't thought to ask him about. I made a merged version using his code and a part of mine that wasn't covered in his revision. (For some reason I decided to add code to move the parties in the Ordeal map out of the way of doors closed by the other party using switches.) Right now I'm waiting for Decanter to greenlight this version and thisgamething to test to ensure the bug really is dead this time before passing the fixed maps off to you.

Based on my memories and the switch label, I'm fairly confident that this was intentional. Good to hear that the new base code is coming along! Meanwhile, I have been making lots of changes to the base maps for the next release, so perhaps it would make the most sense to try to integrate it between the .0 and .1 versions?

Sorry, the thing that Decanter and I were looking at was the loathsome party switch bug in the maps for the Zirantian Ordeal of the Claw and Third Arclent War IK Castle maps. Haven't dug into the Tile Swap bugs for the base as of yet. If and when I get to it, that will just be a modification to Hime's Tile Swap script that won't require any editing to the base maps.
