Open world time! This update is unlikely to have major bugs, but it's virtually certain I'll be adding more content before the .1 version. Great if you like suggesting content, probably best to wait a little if you only want to explore once.

NEW 0.60.1: https://mega.nz/file/GwlDzK6I#WcFCiQdeXziV2LOTQsckO8yRdNpDetJtcupRGj9SSK4

This isn't an essential update, but people will stop running into the Ramasta dead end now. It also makes the conversation in Sarai's tower easily accessible and cleans up everything else reported so far. Hopefully this will be enough and the .2 version can be the overall quality check and expansion.

TLS 0.6.0- New open world segment, with an unusual number of updates.- 9 new scenes.- Two new characters can join the harem, bringing six new affection scenes with them.- Two other characters joining the base.- An old character's affection can be uncapped via a new scene, allowing them to be maxed.- New harem quest.- Shining Swords can finally be turned in for rewards.- Various new opportunities around the world, making it possible to restore the "entity" even if items were previously missed.- Thanks to the work of DukeLeto7, Decanter, and others, several obscure bugs have been eliminated.- Annikath has made some improvements to several dozen past scenes (purely on her own time), so all of those have been updated.- Four new illustrated scenes: Elleani Titfuck, Janine 69, Riala Dreaming, Sarai Doggy

TLS 0.60.1

- Ramasta dead end fixed.

- Content in Sarai's headquarters made more accessible.

- All other reports cleaned up.

It was a real grind getting this update out, so I cut some corners. I tried to remove Trin content where I saw it, but I'm certain that there's more I didn't. I focused on Arclent, which means that there may be some Renthnor/Thenours lines that need updating.

(Also on the list of unfinished stuff: the new map has an animated element that looks pretty janky. I realized that late in development and felt like it would be a bad use of my time to try to fix it.)

I hope this won't be much of a problem, because it was what let me get this update out in reasonable time instead of getting delayed by the OEA release. Hopefully with just a little reporting I can touch up the remaining parts and we'll have built the foundation for all the remaining endgame content.

Speaking of, there is a new quest if Wynn is recruited. It begins in the New Givini Mage Guild. There is also some other content you can't miss, significant updates in places you'd expect, and a bunch of new scenes if you can get your Simon recovered. See the version notes for a few other hints.

I believe that's everything. Hope you enjoy!

What does "remove Trin content" mean? Is it just in the context of games that are on a specific (hidden cause spoiler) path?

Yay! Love the new update! First bug reports though- Sarai doesn't seem to be upgraded. She has no update to her chat option, and she can have sex with Simon without issue. In Aram the Guild of Mages is empty, save for a Sprite of Hester....and there is no escape from the room. It seems she's trapped us again! Still finding things, but the love I have for Simon and Robn's hug can not be expressed in words.

DukeLeto7

It looks like Sabitha's affection scenes are still unlocked.

So, still running around and playing, but it looks like some dialogue wasn't updated - in the Extradimensional Base, Ulrissa talks as if Tanurak is still alive. Other than that, the Palina/Simon talk was a damn good one. Still fumbling around with the content - the Wynn Quest is super vague, like hot damn. Not helped by some triggers not coming online immediately so I nearly missed the Elf Library one. Not sure what else to put in yet, not sure what I've missed. Especially with the bugged convo locking off a decent chunk of the update. I do wish we could get into touch with some other people like Esmera, though - I feel like, considering she admitted to be a full believer like Carina in her youth, that she and Ivala could have a good talk. Same with Ivala and Keranii - really, Ivala and all the High Priestesses could have a damn good talk. Also, curious, but how easy is it for someone to send a High Priestess a gift package?

I am still running through it, so I don't have a complete list of comments or reports but I just encountered one weird line in Zirantia in front of the palace. The character that often comments on Antiala commented that he's "almost glad they didn't have the illusion of Antiala anymore." Is Antiala's nonexistence known to anyone outside of Simon's core group?

sooo i just had something happen to me, if you go to ramasta and to the mages guild u can teleport to the sanctum and get stuck there without a way out. just happened to me and i had to resort to a earlier save file since i couldnt leave. lol hester is also just standing there aswell

Captain Hair

I demand a callback to the restaurant blowjob, but at Orri's! The comedic potential is enormous!

Bug Report: Mithyn's pic in the Harem screen is her full size pic compressed and distorted into fitting.

Ok I finally think I finished all the content for the update! I have a lot of different thoughts because the update comment went in a lot of different directions! I totally expected the Shining Swords to function like the Contorted Stones in Desecrated of Wings and the Insights in Ouroboros, but damn it all if I wasn't rooting for a mech suit forged from melted Swords XD. I will say that my favorite item (other than the ribbon obviously because awww) was the Shining Shield. Because tanks should get the chance to be Chosen too! Quick question, does the new ribbon protect against statuses? Because I want to wear it instead of a pin, but status protection is very tactically valuable. Also speaking of the Chosen, after having the scene percolate in my mind for an update cycle, I think Hester has some serious cognitive dissonance to shame Simon for an isolated incident of manipulating Palina during a time of crisis when she literally interferes with the cognitive and emotional function of the Chosen and then kills them. Speaking of Palina, I thought her conversation was really interesting. But one thing I found just a bit distracting was when she asked Simon if he wanted her to absolve him or tell him it didn't matter. Both in the context of the conversation and in his own common mental patterns that he often vocalizes, it was pretty clear that he was basically asking her to condemn him and affirm his self-loathing (as well as Hester's criticisms, which I can totally see him internalizing as much as he did Geoff's). Not that this really changes the meaning of the conversation at all, because she would reach the same conclusions and say the same things anyway. I really liked Tertia's scene, I thought it was really sweet. I also was very hyped when Robin's normal hug had new dialogue and impacted his recovery :') so sweet. I thought Ivala's first time was a really fun scene with you toying with the "ignorant/innocent virgin" trope. Ivala is not the first virgin in the harem, but Carina and Sarai explored different attitudes around that and just the fact that Ivala is an eon(s) old being made it pretty funny. I'm glad we got to learn more about Hester's motivations. Prior to this update I was reflecting on how we know the littlest about anyone's goals in this final conflict than in any previous, including Simon's since he doesn't even know what is possible. Dealing with cruel megalomaniacs made it pretty easy to see their motivations, and Simon's motivations during those wars were always pretty reactive, but now we still basically have no idea what Xerces intends. I did like how you made Hester incredibly (and dangerously) earnest instead of just a scheming manipulator using the Church and Ivala as means to an end. She really believes in her religion and is willing to sacrifice her goddess and manipulate her fellow believers to make it real. I'll admit I was surprised by how abstracted and "innocent" Ivala felt. With how much of her influence we've seen in events throughout the game, I expected her manipulations to be much more cynical and intentional. But she really seemed like she just wanted to do her best to help people and the world but was just ignorant of the potential consequences of her actions or of how upsetting some people would find her interferences in their lives, especially given that she is not omniscient. She kind of reminded me of Herin before the team and the synod started to mentor her. In the first conversation with Ivala, is it implied that while she nudged many people around Simon, that she was never able to directly nudge Simon himself? That would fit with with Little Girl saying "Quite the opposite" in response to Simon's question about whether they know each other, but I don't think it was stated explicitly. I really like how you played with the Chosen One trope there, making Simon the literal opposite of any kind of chosen one. No god chose him (except Ivala who couldn't touch him directly), no prophecy foretold him (no matter one random and wildly inaccurate book in the Stineford Academy library says about "the last Incubus King"), and not even the abstract non-personified mechanism of fate even bothered to touch him (not even to screw him over!). This revelation does make me further impressed with Mestan's magical ability to read people and I think it is really cool that his lack of a defined path in the very grooves of reality directly contributed to him becoming a generalist. I really liked Wynn's quest, though I agree with others here that it is pretty obscure regarding all the places you could use to improve the test, especially because of the two stages. Wanting to be thorough basically necessitates having to check the entire giant world map twice, because some places I thought could qualify as institutions we could use in stage 1 turned out to be places we could test the test at in stage 2 (like the Hall of Mental Strength), as well as the opposite (like the Orgasmic Offices). Add to that the fact that it wasn't well communicated that there would be two stages at all (Hilstara's and Iris's quest immediately ended when you reached the minimum completion threshold and talked to them again, with Iris's actually resulting in a suboptimal result if you talk to her too early before you were able to visit the OE and Rodak. I thought talking to Wynn to end stage 1 would end the entire quest so I tried to be extremely thorough and then was frustrated when I then had to go around again to search for testing sites. But storywise, I really liked it and thought it had some solid commentary on elitism and had personal growth that I really didn't expect Wynn to go through. I really liked how you are concluding The Impaler's arc, I found his new content unexpectedly touching and hopeful. That alone justifies sparing him early on and working overtime to make sure he didn't die in the Erosian War. It's sad to think he could have died as deeply angry and nihilistic as he was when we first met him. Minor content I enjoyed: Yarra's and Varia's content was funny, especially Yarra bursting in to uphold her harem standards with Xestris. Curious to see what Ginasta has to say about everything that happened when she gets updated in the future. I also really liked the new chat line with the camp guy in Delgar Forest. I always liked having Simon be an old buddy and check in on him even as he got progressively more confused as to why Simon keeps coming back. Having him just accept that they are old friends that can go "Yep. Shit's wild." is fun to me. Also very intrigued by the teased Lexande and Philon content, and I think of Lexande as another old friend for Simon to check in on when possible. I didn't keep a log of all the bugs and typos I found, though I should have, but I do remember some bugs that haven't been mentioned here before. The second communication sphere in the HQ (the one that summons sexy sprite animations to the bed) is still functional, and they can portray Simon having sex before recovery. Xestris has different titles depending on where you talk to her (Hand of the Anak in the HQ garden vs. Former Hand of the Anak in Ivala's Pillar). Ulrissa is still in the Tower HQ talking about Tanurak as if he is alive (EDIT: Just realized this has been mentioned before). I also think it might be fun for Ivala and Simon to have a conversation about the Little Girl at some point, perhaps in the very location she liked to hang out. Oh I also liked the effect of Reflect still being locked, because I think it helped directly reinforce the theme that while Simon may no longer be in the Prison, the prison is still within him and holds him prisoner.

Q-Riff

I think I found a critical bug....only a non-interactable hester shows up in the aramite mage guild? and the exit is gone.

nadassar

Not sure whether it is a bug or not, but I got simons recovery high enough to see the sex scenes but in the menu the points "items", "skills", "Equipment" and "status" are greyed out and unusable.

nadassar

I checked my saves - it happened during the Icubus War aftermath during the transition between Qum and Orcent in Takkan and Carina`s group in Ardford. My Version was 0.59.3. I replayed it now, both with the 0.59.3 and the 0.60 version and the bug didn`t happen again. I do have a save directly before and one after. do you have a preference where I should upload the saves?

logan80

New version of TLS !!!. A well-deserved day of rest is starting to look great. Well, let's see - open world section - that's what I need after all these wars and tough decisions. So I go here and there and talk to whomever I can - a whole lot of thankful people, that's good. One hyperactive orc that I couldn't catch but no wonder as he is affected by the Qum effect. There is no need to save, no hard decisions for now, just sightseeing. And so I found myself in Ramasta and the place where we had met local magicians in the past. I was a bit surprised to see Hester there, but it turned out that she probably shouldn't be there(?) Unfortunately, it also turned out that I have no way to get out of there. No problem, I have an autosave ... which the game did after entering this location ... an hour and a half lost ... F .... !!! So, to summarize, I wanted to report it as a bug ;p

Rachnera

It's basically impossible to judge this update on its own due to its "last open world segment 1/x" nature so focusing on bugs here. "Listen" is best new option though. Bugs: Entering the Ramasta Sanctum super softlocks (softlock after the autosave) Some sex options appear to not be disabled (Uyae, Tertia, Sabitha, animations when examining the rightmost purple sphere in HQ) Mithyn's picture in the harem screen is buggy Not a bug per so but: There is no exam to work at the Crimson Bordello? And I thought this was an establishment with standards.

werewindle

Besides Sarai as already mentioned, one can have sex with Sabitha despite Simon being on the fritz. Also the right orb in the base bedroom shows sex animations, but I dunno if that counts. edit: Whoops, ninja'd.

Runcible Technician

I had fun (the writing is really good btw), but sadly my save is now far from optimized. Playing in chunks as they are released, I fell behind the Pron curve and in essence I am 'continuing to play in a doomed world' with the Agnostic destroyed, Feroholm still in ruins, and both elven kingdoms mega destroyed, so the new content was minimal for me. I ran into several of the issues that other people already reported but I have nothing unique to add yet.

Jeffrey Lebowski

Significant bug report (I'm still working through a full replay on a clean download of the RTP because of my unique bugs regarding inventory destruction and being stuck with Kai in my party on my old run, but luckily that means I can still see how this new update impacts earlier parts of the game). Anyway the bug: Ivala now appears in the palace in chapter 4 as early as the very first time you gain access to the palace, ready to have a conversation a year or two too early

winmace

Not sure if it's my save but I'm replaying through the incubus prison right now and getting this error when trying to loot the spell in the tower, it loads Riala's bitmap but then crashes the game: Cache:106:in `initialize': failed to create bitmap, RGSSError from Cache:106:in `new' from Cache:106:in `normal_bitmap' from Cache:91:in `load_bitmap' from Cache:57:in `picture' from Sprite_Picture:43:in `update_bitmap' from Sprite_Picture:30:in `update' from Spriteset_Map:252:in `block in update_pictures' from Game_Pictures:26:in `block in each' from Game_Pictures:26:in `each' from Game_Pictures:26:in `each' from Spriteset_Map:250:in `update_pictures' from Extra Picture Viewport:130:in `update_pictures' from Spriteset_Map:184:in `update' from Fog:407:in `update' from Scene_Map:65:in `update' from Scene_Base:14:in `main' from SceneManager:23:in `run' from Main:8:in `block in '

So... I got locked too in ramasta with an autosave . Version 0.60.1 Removes esther sprite but doesnt add a way back... is there a way to edit your save so you start in headquarters (or anywhere?)

Grim8P

Great update as always. Lots of great lines that my wife and I burst out laughing repeatedly. I think my personal favourite involved Ivala's comment about profanity. I actually wasn't sure how much I was going to like Ivala once we got to talk with her in person but you sold me on her in a few different places. I ended up really liking her. The conversations with her initially, with Sarai later, and how the first sex scene was handled were all great. Separately, the conversation with Palina stood out to me as well. I would provide detailed feedback on Wynn's quest but I think it will be similar to at least some I saw above. It'll be at least somewhat mitigated by the wiki being updated eventually but I do think it could use some tweaking. Perhaps a more direct hint for the two phases would be sufficient. I otherwise did really love it though. Wynn really felt like she came a long way and she came to some conclusions I didn't expect but were probably even better received on our end for that reason. One bug I haven't seen mentioned yet is that if you haven't yet slept with Neranda's husband's harem but meet the requirements, you can, before you recover Simon.

Sion

Not sure if this is pressing but when I was messing with the SaveEditor I noticed that the values Wynn gives for Accuracy and Intensity are flipped in the editor. I.e. when I check the notebook it says Accuracy: 63 Intensity: 82 Bias: 38 but when I check the editor values it shows Wynn Intensity 63 Wynn Accuracy 82 Wynn Bias 38

ADAMN.

1. is there a list of the several dozen past scenes with improved art? 2. will the new map (i'm assuming philon) be accessible in 60.2 or will that be saved for future updates? 3. can I get you anything? some water? a shoulder rub? maybe an edible? whatever you need I got you homie

Jeffrey Lebowski

If this is the last open world segment, does that also mean that this is the last round of investment returns? If so I can see some minor problems with content being locked out by investments that take waiting until the next investment return to implement, especially Feroholm restoration. Might be good to add a trigger for investment progress somewhere in future content. Then again, making late investors wait until the post-game to see the rebuilt Ferholm is a viable direction

Chris

Dang, looks like I messed up somewhere. Not a good sign if everyone's talking about how the Doom King betrayed everyone right?

WaxerRed

Think I finished most of the core content, and most of the side content (but I'm sure there are some secrets in the big open world I am missing, which is a good thing!) This was a great open world update, and a much needed peaceful one after so many stressful ones in a row! And I would say the update was one of the better ones for all the great conversations. From both Carina and Sarai meeting Ivala, to Wynn getting so much to say in her side quest, Tetria cheering Simon up, Palinia and Simon talking, I can't list them all but I love them all! Two suggestions, if you'll have them, for more dialouge. A talk with Aka on Mestan's death. She'll have seen it happen if he was joined with Lilith, but I don't think she would have seen it in the other path since Mestan was taken to the prison. Either way, Aka was closest in the group with him, so I'd be curious what she'd have to say, and Im sure Simon would have thoughts as well! An update to Kalant, seeing as his girlfriends father just passed, i'd imagine he'd have something to say on it. This suggestion could also be to add more mourners in the street of Ardford, He might have been an absent King, but he'd been king for decades so I'm sure his death must have been a blow. Those are my two ideas for more, as always feel free to ignore or change if you'd like! XD Moving on, I'll say the Wynn quest was pretty good as well! I like the idea behind it being quite unique, and seeing how everyone took the test was quite a treat, Sabitha and Qum were both the best. A suggestion for a place for phase one, the orc immigration office, I'm sure they had to test a BUNCH of orcs in a huge range of thought. Though like others I'd say I was...not thrilled when the second phase of Wynn's quest made me go through the whole world for a second time. Not helped by the fact that I found the hint of "general public" not very helpful, and there was really no way to find all those locations without just checking every single location and in every single building. That said, I'm sure these quests will be less of a chore when we are able to do multiple harem quests at once and can double up, so my complaints are only valid for a short time! Last, just want to say I adore the sex scenes! From Ivala's cuteness, to Tetria breast milk, to GoM's cock addiction to Carina self-acceptance of pleasure, they were all golden and you did AMAZING work on them all! So all in all, Great update as usual, amazing work to surely be proud of SL!

PZK

I'm also getting this crash when trying to loot the spell in the tower of the incubus prison area one Cache:106:in `initialize': failed to create bitmap, RGSSError from Cache:106:in `new' from Cache:106:in `normal_bitmap' from Cache:91:in `load_bitmap' from Cache:57:in `picture' from Sprite_Picture:43:in `update_bitmap' from Sprite_Picture:30:in `update' from Spriteset_Map:252:in `block in update_pictures' from Game_Pictures:26:in `block in each' from Game_Pictures:26:in `each' from Game_Pictures:26:in `each' from Spriteset_Map:250:in `update_pictures' from Extra Picture Viewport:130:in `update_pictures' from Spriteset_Map:184:in `update' from Fog:407:in `update' from Scene_Map:65:in `update' from Scene_Base:14:in `main' from SceneManager:23:in `run' from Main:8:in `block in '

Bug Report. Ivala in the base has no switches to block her appearing in base, so she'll always be there, well before meeting her.

Lamsey

I've had a quick run through, but not at the usual level of detail. I haven't managed to get Simon fully recovered yet, so I guess I must have missed something. I'll try again on the next build. Ardford seems quite calm about the Doom King's minions wandering around the city shortly after the Doom King smashed the Crystal Of Ivala. The Palina conversation is good. It doesn't absolve Simon, but it doesn't fully condemn him either, and it gives Palina the agency in deciding how to handle the trauma rather than having a particular feeling imposed on her. I'm also pleased to see her troops working their arses off. The Sarai and Carina conversations are also very good. THEOLOGY BEFORE KILLING. I especially enjoyed Sarai getting to call Ivala a cunt.

AppleCookies

A bug I encountered was that I had the Sarai and Carina conversation and got Carina to 100 before Simon recovered but once he did Carina dropped back to 99.

Desertopa

I definitely didn't get the best possible results for the testing sidequest, and will probably end up repeating it later on, but I did find a typo in the event where the harem takes the test. Wynn has a line which spells "asinine" as "asanine." If the text were diegetic, I might expect a crack about Wynn mocking others' intelligence with a word she spells incorrectly.
