Early update in the hopes I can mentally wrap up this week and move on to the next. TLS 0.61.1 seems to be fine, which is good. I'm not sure when the next update will be, but I would like for it to be a hefty one.

Work sucks right now. I want to sink myself fully into something without any baggage, but everything I feel like doing either isn't coming together or would create a lot more work for my future self. Need the endorphins from flow state. =/

Speaking of endorphins, fanart. In this post we have a silly envisioning of the Lustful Emissaries technique from Argo. There's also a Dynamic Simon (TM) from a patron that I believe I neglected to link before. I'm glad that my work has inspired so much enthusiasm. ^-^

Secondary activities really aren't letting up. When operating at normal capacity, they barely impact my productivity, but right now I feel like they just keep knocking me back. Lots of things are in motion on long term schedules, or people are depending on me sending them their payments, etc. There's not really anyone else who can cover for me, so it just needs to get done.

Thanks to those of you who have helped me with assorted things. I very much appreciate it.

If you need more stress in your life, I could tell you about my probably stupid stock options trading strategy predicated on the belief that there will be a catastrophic crash in the value of Bitcoin in the next 26 days. Total invested to date: $4,040.00 Total ROI: $-2,976.00 + $5 of stock Robinhood threw in for being a good sport. Total Stress Level: Arecibo Telescope Support Cable

Sounds like things keep piling up, I wonder at what point an independent artist in you position is better off hiring an assistant or accountant to handle a lot of these matters on your behalf, especially considering the financial tradeoffs that comes with. Regardless I'm happy to be able to still be a supporter during times like this and I hope things can work out soon for you

sierralee

It's a valid question. I've taken a few steps in that direction, with a business person and accountant to handle a few things. An assistant might make sense, but for anyone working that close with me there's a larger trust issue. I would hire someone to handle promotion in an instant if I thought it could work, but every dev I've spoken to who hired a promoter regretted it. Anyway, I appreciate your support.

sierralee

Well, when Annikath links or mentions TLS on Twitter, that's a type of promotion, and it's something I'm very grateful for. But she couldn't do promotion full time because she's already an artist full time.

Lustful Emissaries? Argo? I'm very curious.

Lamsey

Lustful Emissaries is one of Yarra's synergy skills, needing Riala to be with her in the active formation. It's a more powerful version of her Incubus King's Emissary AoE skill. Argo (or, more formally, ArgoTheRatfolk) is a patron.

WaxerRed

Wait, so are Yarra and Riala casting Incubus King's Emissary on Simon to make him hard and slow him in combat? Or are they casting it with Simon to make him look more attractive to the enemy (by illusioning his hard dick out)? Either way, I approve!

Yeesh man. The trend seems to be downward, but that is a ballsy bet.

It's based on some theoretically sound reasoning. The stock I've bought put options against is MicroStrategy, which has borrowed about $3 billion to buy Bitcoin, so Bitcoin doesn't have to go to 0 to tank the stock price, it just has to drop enough to wipe out the shareholder equity relative to the outstanding loans. There's also the fact that Tether/Bitfinex and Celsius are fairly obviously on the brink of insolvency and vulnerable to a run, and that the Terra/Luna meltdown and the last major drop in Bitcoin started almost immediately after the last Federal Reserve interest rate hike on May 4th, and the next interest rate hike will come next week. I was also very careful not to risk more than I can afford to lose, and put options are constructed so that the risk exposure is that you either lose all the premium paid or make money if the stock price drops below the strike price (less the premium). But it IS a risky bet, nonetheless.
