I won't get too much into personal stuff this update, but I'm feeling heavy at the moment. Big family holidays like Thanksgiving aren't the best of times, but also we recently passed four months since the death in my family.

During those four months, I've released TLS 0.20.x, Noxian Nights 1.2.x, Ouroboros 2.0, and TLS 0.21.x. I hope people are happy with that content; working on it helped me this far. There should be multiple updates coming at a reasonable pace in the future as well.

I'd hoped that this update I could say that TLS 0.22.0 would be out next week, but I can't promise that. Progress has not been ideal. However, that should give you a sense for what work has been done and how long the update will be.

My creative energy is feeling less chaotic, but I'm left with a bit of a mess. I started so many random little things during the chaotic period, my HD is awash with project fragments. Going forward, I hope to focus on my primary two projects... but I don't want all that other work to go to waste, either.

Instead of taking a month off like I did with Ouroboros, I'll only tinker on these occasionally when I know I won't be productive with anything else. It might take a long time for anything to come of this, but I think it will leave me more refreshed on average and occasionally you guys will get something new.

Other news:

1) It seems Nutaku's Black Friday sale does indeed drive new sales. I actually hit #3 the first day, but then I got buried by bigger titles.

2) I take back the positive thing I said about DLsite. When they provide feedback at all about censorship standards, it is ambiguous and contradictory. I still haven't gotten through their process because of this.

Sorry to hear the holidays are going to be a rough time for you. Take care of yourself first and formost.

Hey sierra, keep your spirits up man, you got a lot of cool people out there that love your work and your doing very good on it :). Also, I was wondering since im a new pledge, do I need to buy your games off the DL sites to get them? Or, is there somewhere on the site i go to get them? Thanks, and stay frosty.

Darthjake

A little Chaos is good for creativity, do what you need to do to stay upbeat and fresh about your work / hobby / labor of love.

sierralee

You can "buy" the games off Patreon - your $10 pledge just now counts. I'll send you a PM.

Bladestorm

Do what you need to, I love the content you bring and it helps when you enjoy what you doing. I have bought Ouroboros when the sales were on and I got to say well done once again. Have a good day or night, whatever time you are reading this.

Hope things get better for you, I have to say you made my holiday a little brighter. My curiosity over this break lead me to explore the game files and I have to say that you made me laugh a few times when I saw the little easter eggs that I have missed (darn min maxing) in playing before. The biggest laugh I had was when I saw the picture you have in the files for Ivala...never change your sense of humor. I have to say looking at your work in the scripting side has left me with large amount of respect for the work you have put into this game. The love you have for the game came out loud and clear there.

Ripe

Sorry, but how do you explore the game files?

Skull Leader

You can't without doing a step that I am not sure if Sierra really approves of, by taking a decrypter program to extract all the files that are in game.rgss3a file. From there you get all the tilesets, pictures, sprites that the game uses. But if you the rpgmaker program she is using (VX ACE) you can take all those files and dump them into a rpgmaker project to really see the hard work she has done. But I will remind people that you do have to respect her intellectual property and not steal/copy her work. If she tells us to stop doing this then we should respect her wishes.

sierralee

It's fine, I know everybody is going to decrypt RPG Maker games. I barely ever try a new RPG Maker project without first opening it and looking around myself. I don't want anyone to steal stuff, of course.

Darthjake

You have to have a copy of VX Ace to view the project?

Skull Leader

Well the data files (such as event maps, classes, etc) require it since they are vx ace files. Graphics like the character sprites, pictures, and so forth do not require it because they are stored as non rpgmaker file extensions.
