wow, great cliffhanger! what does it mean that Daniel hasn't advanced his class? I really like the way this plot is unfolding - it's clear that the Lich is way stronger than them and that they're going to have to get really lucky to just scrape by this time. Advancing your class is like evolving it takes time to complete your advancement. Daniel just didn't have the time to do it and acted as bait by making the Lich believe he advanced his class and became a threat.
